What travellers are saying
- TheBurgersBrookmans Park, UK1,272 contributionsA wonderful way to learn not only about how Marsala is made but also the history of the Florio family. Frederica, our guide, was very knowledgable, spoke excellent English and really bought the tour to life.
We booked the Classic Tour which lasted about 90 mins includes a tour of the winery along with the tasting of three Florio wines and some small bites to accompany the wine.
We would thoroughly recommend the tour if you you are interested in wine.Written 8 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve MChicago, IL32 contributionsExcellent, informative English-language tour in a modern facility near the Marsala coastline. We were new to Marsalas and learned a lot. They have a nice collection of antique Sicilian carts as well. (In mapping apps, be sure to search for Pellegrino Ouverture rather than Cantine Pellegrino, which is the industrial part of the winery 1 block away.)Written 7 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Phillip LMelbourne, Australia364 contributionsOne of the gates of the city, built in the 17th century, it is monumental and asking to be admired and photographed. And then you're through it. For those into architecture, it will be of great interest.Written 16 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Antonio5 contributionsFamily member did this tour for us, without a reservation and it was very nice. He was passionate about his winery and took so much time with us to give us a great experience, he even gave us a gift wine to take home. - AnnaRicardoOttawa, Canada38 contributionsA very very educative tour lead by a young lady (newly arrived at Bartoli) highly knowledgable and amicable. Tour concluded on a professional tasting Including rare samplings of venerable vintages. Bartoli cellars are a little bit outside Marsala town which is great for driving and parking.
