Beautiful venue. The production was absolutely brilliant Les Miserables is one of MY favourite productions and they really did it justice.

Been trying to visit here for ages but just couldn’t get dates or time right :( but last weekend enjoying a post ‘Spoons breakfast stroll hubby spotted the ‘open’ sign and we decided to go and what a little gem this place is! Receiving a warm welcome we explained it was on our list and finally we finally made it (having been once before many years ago). For a very reasonable price (considering you can stay as long as you wish and go round as many times as you want to) we loved the whole thing, we loved looking for the crossword clues, counting the fairies and entering the competition and the trains being on motion sensors ensure you always see moving trains. We were amused by the shop name puns - hilarious & clean fun! We enjoyed a cuppa in the cafe and used the nice facilities. It was the last day of their season so was great timing and nice gentle fun :)

Marine Lake is a wonderful, restful place. Wildlife. Is it one of wonders of world? personmade out of the natural. Kings Gardens alongside. Glad to see pier being refurbed / maintained. Many wating places close by. Like the walk along where there are no cars.

Still a very nice place to visit and walk round, especially the lake and the aviary.
Not as grand as it used to be but still good if you have your grandchildren with you.
Reasonable cafe, selling snacks and also beer

We went to see "I like It" a music tribute to 60's Mersey sound. Fab show had you singing and tapping your feet from start to finish.

Interesting to see that with its 1860 opening, it is both the oldest iron pier and second longest one in Britain. Admirable honours.

However, unfortunately due to its temporary closure for essential works, we didn’t get to stroll along and appreciate its greatness.
