Granted, only the gate part remains and a scattering of ruins, but the place is magical and a photographer's dream, for the panoramic views from the hilltop are just as breathtaking as the castle.
It is in a fairly quiet area and the view from the top is amazing!

We have been to the corn exchange for the last 7 years to see the pantomime and always sat 5 rows from the front so had perfect view with great acoustics.
The theatre itself is well set out and every seat would appear to have an excellent view of the stage.
