Worth every penny! We had so much fun with the Kentsu and Anders. They were great and we will definitely be back for other tours with their company. Thank you guys for an amazing time!

Pick-up at the hotel, which was convenient. We have stayed at the park for around three - four hours. David is a friendly person, with a lot of knowledge of the park. He will guide you through a destined hiking trail. During the trail he will provide you with a lot of information. The mushroom soup he served was amazing. Overall, definitely five stars worth!

Fantastic day out, despite the poor weather, which no one noticed. What a beautiful, peaceful place. Jeff was an excellent guide, full of enthusiasm and knowledge. We would recommend this trip and others organised by Taiga -brilliant.

The guide Jeff is really passionate about nature. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves throughout the guided tour. Jeff cooked salmon stew for us midway through the hike and it was absolutely delicious! 10/10 for the experience, food and company.

We decided to do this hike for my sisters birthday and WOW did not disappoint! The lunch that was provided was traditional homemade Finnish dish and the view were incredible.Jeff was amazing and made us feel so welcome and relaxed. It was only the 3 of us on the walk and we did at our own pace. We learnt a lot about the National park, animals and everything else 😂. Definitely recommend and will be back.

This tour was really worth it, up close and feeding the reindeer in a private tour. The cinnamon bun were freshly made for us that we had around a fire. Would highly recommend.

When we planned our trip to (the wonderful city of) Helsinki, we decided that we'd like to see at least parts of the finnish nature aswell! Therefore we took part of this hiking adventure through the Nuuksion national park!
We went there in October, which might have been the best time possible since autumn had already done its work! All the leaves were shining in the brightest colors, which was absolutely breathtaking!
Our guide could answer every question we had and explained a lot himself, so we had an awesome insight into finnish nature and also culture.
I would definitely recommend booking this trip, especially if your trip to Finnland basically only consists of being in the city!

Love doing free tours when I first enter a new city, and this Helsinki tour did not disappoint! Anni gave a very good tour and was clearly very knowledgeable about Finland. We got a great overview of the two main cathedrals, and some other interesting sights as well as tips for what to do afterwards.

Not that kind of magical mushroom experience, but a fun, beautiful excursion to the backwoods of Finland. This is a must for any nature lover who wants to get out of the city for a day. Jeff was a hospitable and knowledgable guide who took us on our journey through Liesjarvi National Park. He taught us about different kinds of mushrooms, and how to identify the edible ones. On top of that, we harvested a variety of berries that were plentiful.

We hiked through the mossy forest until we reached our camp along the lake where we cooked our forage of chantrelles and porcinis over an open fire in a wooden teepee, as Jeff prepared lunch of salmon soup, rye bread, and blueberry juice.

Such a lovely day and special memory of Finland!

    Thank you Taiga Times!

My husband and I had an incredible day with Jeff picking berries and learning all about mushrooms (most importantly which ones are safe!) Jeff is very friendly and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our day with him. We also were served a delicious homemade lunch lakeside. My husband and I have just moved to Finland ourselves, and this is by far the best activity we've done so far in terms of quality and the perfect introduction to foraging in the Finnish forests. We hope to sign up for another trip with Taiga Times in the future.
