Nice day trip where visiting the cave and the subterranean lake of Melissani. Pick up and drop off went excellent from our accomodation.
We had to wait at the agency for the cruise ship passengers, so we started with some 15-20 minutes delay.
We had very short time at every stop, almost nothing on our own, hardly enough to find a toilet.
Winetasting was taken in 10 minutes, and the guide and the representative of the winery had a discussion in Greek above our heads, about the lack of booking this winetasting from the agency.
It was a hot day, over 35 degrees. The AC in the bus was working, but the driver didn't want to lock the window on his left side.
We asked once at the beginning, than he did it, so after that he opened it again.
Before the last part of the trip started I asked nicely the guide to tell the driver to close the window. Than we have been served a strange explanation about the COVID -low, according to which the driver has to hold the window open during the trip. I mean this is just an excuse, a "bullsh..."and I asked him to show me the regulation. I was told that is in Greek.I said "no problem", I can translate it. This was the moment when the window got closed.
I found out later that when a fellow traveller asked for the same earlier, she has been told that they cannot close the window because the hot temperature outside and the AC inside can make the window to crack!
We are the paying guests, the coach should have been air- conditioned, which was never done properly and we have suffered of the heat all day.
Making excuses to explain bad habits of the workers is just so poorly made.
We should also get a bottle of water, included in the ticket, which we never got.
The trip was nice, price ok, but it is needed a big change in the attitude of some people who are working in the tourism.
