The tour guide completed her studies in Athens and so knowledgeable about the history and architecture of The Acropolis. She answered all questions and expanded on the topic of the question. She kept the group moving at an appropriate pace stopping to explain what we were looking at. I would highly recommend this tour when visiting Athens!

It is best to start the hike through Imbros Gorge at the northern entrance. If you come with your own car from the north, you can drive past the first restaurants with parking lots and "Imbros-Entrance" signs and park about 1Km further down the road at the restaurant Porofarago. From here you‘ll start your hike directly at the ticket booth if the gorge.
The path is not particularly difficult, but due to the uneven ground and boulders, sturdy shoes are required.
At the narrowest point between the steep walls, the gorge is only a good 2m wide, which looks quite spectacular.
The entire path to the lower exit is about 7.5km long. From here you can take a cab back (pre-order). Since the terrain doesn't change much during the last 2km, we turned around after 5.5km and walked back uphill through the gorge. In this direction, many things look different, so that both ways are worthwhile.
We were there in mid-May and it was not too crowded.

Our hotel is in Imerovigli so started the walk there. As many have said wear either trainers or sturdy shoes, take water and be prepared for a reasonable hike in the sun as there are no real shady spots

The path is easy to follow not least because there are always people in front of you doing the same walk. It’s a path in some locations but much of it is on volcanic rock so this is where your good footwear will be essential.

The views are spectacular and you will take so many photos along the way. We enjoyed the approach into Oia (not least because it was downhill!) and then gradually walking through one of the towns main streets. There are plenty of places to eat and drink after your hike.

It took us 2 hours from Imerovigli. We got the bus back via Fira (although due to having to change buses there and a 15 minute walk off the bus to the hotel this took 2 hrs too).

A great way to see some of the best views of the island - many of them inaccessible by road.

The sand was just amazing. There were showers, small changing room, cozy sun beds, market etc. Views were also amazing. It has also very shallow beach, so it’s good with kids.

A beautiful church and a wonderful experience. Each person will judge it themselves but we found it to be special, calming and spiritual.
Really worth visiting to escape the busy (but lovely) city

Very nice spot for swimming, snorkelling, they even have some diving equipment there (not sure if its a diving school). Do come early to get nice spot, becomes really crowded.

With a wonderful view on the top it is worth to visit. The trip to the castle goes through some of the most beautiful areas of Rhodes.
It is a little difficult to visit since stairs are not the best.

This is another gem on the southern coast set a short drive from big name beaches of Paradise and Super paradise. Beware, that drive is pretty tricky with very steep and narrow road.
Agrari is in a small bay with both, free part and paying part with sunbeds (double cheaper than on other beaches) so choose according to your likings.

Pretty cool place to see some different wildlife. Cats and peacocks mixing and sharing food was bizarre yet pretty cool.

The forest has a nice pathed walk but be careful that you don’t stand on any un-expecting peacocks!

Apart from that, there isn’t much there..

Lovely drive, brisk walk, amazing views and definitely well worth a visit. The walk up is nice and easy with an occasional slippery worn out step. The views up the ruins shows what Corfu is all about though.
Parking is tiny, but the road only leads to here. so, you can always park on the side of the road.
The only signal on the road has 7.5 mins of switching time. But definitely, wait. the roads through the village is narrow.

This is my cup of tea.
Walking around the old town of rethymno and just wandering until my hearts content.
This is just one reason why me and the wife love Greece and its islands.
