- Steve HUnited Kingdom2,325 contributionsWhat a lovely railway station!!!. Located in the heart of brilliant Porto a must see on your visit and there are so many other places near by!. Although the front of the station is currently a building site due to works for a new metro line the interior is fantastic. We have visited before but a new addition is the "Time Out" food market on the side which is also well worth a visit for a drink, lunch or dinner, some great food options!!. Probably a little more pricey than some local bars, the quality is excellent and there is a very nice modern style look and feel to the place, just something very different to enjoy!. Actually there is a beer & wine outlet, I was very impressed by how many beers Portugal have, better than Spain!!!. - Nienke H3 contributionsFabio drove us from the airport to the hotel and was right on time and was a great driver. He made us feel very welcome in Portugal and was very funny. I haven't Portuguese only english so it was brilliant the way he looked after me . On my way back from the airport my driver Patricia arrived less than 4 minutes after my call ,what a complete professional and again I was treated like a family member I couldn't recommend this family run firm highly enough they have a customer for life

He was punctual, helpful and very knowledgeable. Having not made any reservations, he still managed to find us a great place for lunch and a tasting at a charming smaller winery. Although our time and experience was limited, less than two weeks, we thought the Porto buses do an excellent job for what they are designed to do. The drivers are professional and journey times very satisfactory. - yankeefan730Burlington, Canada968 contributionsI'm glad I didn't read the reviews in advance, or might have looked elsewhere for a shuttle service; but as it was, most pleased with the overall service, both to the hotel and back to the airport. First trip was shared with other passengers, second time around driver was early, we were the only passengers, and we got to the airport in excellent time. - Patti M5 contributionsWe hired Rui Amaro to drive two couples to go to Aveiro from our hotel in Porto. He was very prompt and polite. He drove us to places as requested as well as destinations he suggested. Everything was really good. What stood out to us was that we had to be back in Porto by 4 and he didn’t take advantage of dropping us off early but made sure our time was filled with things to do. A very enjoyable day, then he dropped us at our destination promptly at 4 pm. While most of the passenger enjoyed sightseeing by the vintage tram, we used it as a nice way to get from the city centre to our hotel next to the park at Passeio Alegre. Highly recommended if you enjoy nostalgia. - RianaSan Francisco, CA108 contributionsNuno and his team at Inbictvs Douro Tours was incredible and highly recommend hiring them for transfers. From the start, Nuno was very easy to communicate with while organizing multiple transfers from Lisbon to the Douro Valley for my family of 6. Their car was a very comfortable and clean Mercedes van, which felt roomy even with 2 child car seats and lots of luggage. They were always punctual, very friendly, and went above and beyond with finding and stopping by a nice grocery store on the way to our Airbnb in the Douro Valley, accommodating a last minute change of plans to swing by Sintra when we were unable to visit Pena Palace as scheduled the day before, and even calling to confirm a Douro River boat ride when I wasn't able to reach them via email.
