The ride was well tailored to our riding level and our guide Paulo also knew quite a bit about the nature and history of the forest, so that was interesting as well.
I didnt have much experience horse riding, but this was really great easy trek through the national park and the horse had a lovely temperament and was very easy to ride.

We have done the hike to the Pico Ruivo from Teixeira with our 3 months old daughter :) The car park is big and it's at the end of the road , we have used google maps for directions .
