Great selection of food from pizza, burgers, salad and various other yummy delights.
Very peaceful place to relax over a coffee or eat a nice lunch with a couple of drinks.
Approximately 10 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station.

Those two ceilings are extravagently painted and worth seeing if you are in the neighborhood anyway-- the Rembrandt House is just up the street--but I would not go out of my way to find it. A woman on the ground floor welcomed us and gave us 5 minutes in English about the history of the house and the meanings of the ceilings. The colors have remained remarkably brilliant now, over 300 years after they were painted. - Carol (from London)6 contributionsAlthough quite distant from the ciy centre, it is certainly worth visiting this cultural centre at Zeeburgerdijk 21, Amsterdam, to view the exceptionally well-curated, informative and thought-provoking exhibitions about the history, heritage and political activism of African and Caribbean diaspora communities in the Netherlands. At the time of my visit in July 2022 there were two outstanding multimedia presentations: (1) "Facing Blackness" - a poignant collection of historical artefacts, archival documents and excerpts of contemporary film footage that combined to visualise and contextualise anti-racist resistance, social justice activism and decolonial discourse spanning many decades; (2) "100 Years of Surinamese in the Netherlands" - a chronological display of black and white photo portraits, seminal historical texts, group imagery and documentary films about the lived experiences and migration narratives of Surinamese people, before and after independence. For non-Dutch-speaking visitors, translated interpretation literature (in English) was accessible via QR codes at the entrance to each gallery. Additionally, the very helpful staff members provided further details about the featured content. Given the complex subject matter, considerable care and sensitivity was applied to make the visual and textual narratives accessible and insightful whilst also not hiding the challenges encountered in the ongoing struggles for racial justice.Written 21 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
