It was by turns serene (her lovely home!), playful and silly (as my friend and I tried and often failed to sound erudite about smells), and transportive (as we immersed ourselves in the exercise of making our own perfume, under Arielle's patient tutelage).
I wouldn't have said that I was a huge "perfume person" prior to this workshop - heck, I was highly sceptical that my sense of smell was anything more than functional but it turns out, none of those things mattered. This was just the perfect way to spend a few hours on a Sunday, in the company of a close friend, learning, laughing, and creating.

Inside the room is filled with light for great athmosphere. From the get go, when we got new Dutch identities (I became Joost Visscher!), to the snacks, and the games themselves. The art game was my favourite game I think but they were all hugely entertaining.
This was just a ton of fun.
