This is a small passageway connecting two major streets in downtown Amsterdam. Beurspassage is a short row of stores with impressive paintings and chandeliers. Very photogenic spot for tourists.

We had a great time at the cow museum and the owner was so friendly and happy to explain to us about the pieces. The prices were fair and we were so happy to pick up our own cow!! :) Hoping to come back on my next trip!

A great shop for prints - old and new. Prices are good and the selection is amazing. We bought two small prints which they packed up very nicely (and safely) for us.

It's next to the flower markets.

…what a terrific unexpected visit we’ve had-walking into Renssen Art Gallery; welcomed, companied, guided, well extended knowledge Art-Hystoricus…but also nice homely chatting..time flew by…& moreover we where into “Picasso”…we where privileged to enter the inner Circle of Eric’s Atelier…: what a dip intoCultural Livingcolours History, like craftsman using age old skill…and artist’s color pigments, managed like the stratified colors of the tulip fields or such exquisite floral gardens …Eric’s specialty..: Rubbing Shoulder to Shoulder with the Old Master Picasso….formidabel!!
Thank you two special People; to invite us in your warm embracing/innercirkle …with Picasso
    Best regards

What a great place! Great atmosphere, so many talents on the wall. Piet Paris, who is the greatest fashion illustrator in the world for years, he is presented at this gallery. And than: Astrid Vos, fashion illustrator for glam girls and women, from all over the world. Go and have your own perfect fashion illustration! At last: Julian Stips, what a talent, controversial which is so needed! Amsterdam can be proud at this hidden gem. I love this place!

strolling around the area, I bumped into this Art gallery and I was immediately pleased with the atmosphere of the exhibits and Stefan's friendly welcome. the choices of art pieces are particularly attractive, colorful and diverse.

I will pay a visit again with great pleasure and buy something whenever possible.

Small but eye-catching building on two floors maybe 5-10 minute walk to the east of central station along the waterfront and a nice walk it is too. Anyhow, the present exhibition is on the "right to build" and they have also started to do summer walks too (which I think are free). Well worth popping in.

I recommend Nieuw Dakota to all the contemporary art fans! I really like their format of two exhibitions on the same topic from different perspectives, currently about love . The space itself is really interesting, located in the industrial part of the city. The staff is really friendly and eager to talk and explain. Make sure to visit when in Amsterdam!

really cool free (or donation) place to go in Amsterdam. we probably only stayed an hour but the art was amazing and quirky. the building itself was huge and really added to the experience. i would definitely recommend this as a 1-2hour activity in amsterdam!

I recently purchased the most beautiful dinnerware set ( L’Objet Aegean) from TERTIUS and I am absolutely over the moon with my purchase. The service I received was absolutely first class, communication was a 10 out of 10.
My dishes arrived within a few days just as was promised.
They were professionally and individually packed and was fully insured and fully tracked.
I had shopped around online for this set, and TERIUS had the best price by far.
    I highly recommend this company.
You can make your purchase and relax.
I cannot wait to use my dishes in our new house.
    Thanks TERTIUS
    You’re the Best.
    Maureen London.

This pretty shop is 'on the walking tour' so duck in. The guy is delightful- at least snag a t-shirt, which is unique both for its art and design. Chat him up- and Mark will point you in the right direction, carrying a memory.

Arden Art Gallery had hung some art in the hotel where we were staying in Amsterdam. We really liked what we saw so we decided to find the gallery to visit it. We were greeted warmly and the lady in the gallery was extremely helpful, patient and nice. She spent lots of time with us, explaining us the artwork, guiding us in our choice through an amazing selection. We bought a fairly big piece and had it shipped to our house in Canada. The package arrive VERY QUICKLY (less than 3 weeks!) and was extremely well wrapped. We strongly recommend the Arden Art Gallery and we will definitely go back when in Amsterdam again.
