Boom Chicago, now on Rozengracht after moving from Leidseplein, epitomizes this vibrancy.
The venue blends industrial-theater aesthetics with cozy, quirky touches.
Excited for the show, we ordered drinks, but the service was lackluster.
Service in the Netherlands can be hit-or-miss, often depending on how much you pay.
Having lived in the U.S. with its unmatched hospitality, I didn't expect this at an American comedy club.
Nonetheless, the evening was fantastic. The main theater is cozy, well air-conditioned, with excellent sound and acoustics.
Despite the poor service, the great company and fantastic show made it a blast. The lobby gets crowded, & they are strict about opening the doors. An entertaining and engaging journey through the history of the city, told in a fun and accessible way and presented with an incredible music performance. Both artists were so talented, great voices and piano skills.
