The Old Town in Zurich is beautiful. The Limmat crossing it makes it great for pictures. Lots of old buildings, part of such an historic city!

We walked over to take a look at the lake and thought what a spectacular sight of the alps against the water. I enjoyed the surrounding scenery and beautiful trees.

We absolutely love from time to time to go up on Uetliberg, benefit from a good exercise until arriving at the top and finally, enjoy the view!

I have been to many zoos in the past, but by far this is the best one I have been to. The enclosures are very big for the animals and have lots of space to roam around. The animals look well kept and looked after. There are lots of different animals to see such as - toucan birds, flamingos, variety of monkies, red pandas etc etc. The park is very clean and tidy, the staff are friendly. There is a lovely gift shop they sells all the usual toys, soft toys, stationary etc but they do have lots of homemade sauces, spices, jams etc.

We stayed in stayed in central Zurich and took the tram (Number 6) it takes you direct to the zoo - and only 5 mins walk to the entrance. The tram/ bus tickets are alot cheaper than getting a taxi.

I would highly recommend visiting the zoo.

This street is definitely something to see and not a street meant for someone of reasonable means to visit as nearly every store is high end and needs a sizeable wallet. In saying that I did find one or two spots which were in budget

i think we were there almost everyday - they arranged 3 tours for us (gray line to Jungfrau and Heidiland, Rhine Falls with "best of switzerland".) arranged the tickets we needed for transportation to the airport and other places so we didnt need to waste anymore time trying to figure it out. everyone there were very friendly and very helpful! conveniently located and hours were great.

The Lindenhofplatz is the oldest part of Zurich at an elevated position in the old town.
When walking from the main railway station, it will be above the right bank of the Limmat river. You need to take an easy walk up to an elevated plateau where's a park with benches overlooking the entire town. Beneath it are Roman ruins, the oldest part of the city, but they're not in great shape and not that interesting.
Close by is the St. Peter's Church.

The Zurich Hauptbahnhof, or the main railway station is the biggest one in all of Switzerland with connections to entire country and abroad. Like all other stations it is in the very center, and in front of it you can catch buses or trams to every part of Zurich.

The Museum Rietberg is easy to get to by Zurich Tram. We got off the Green Line here on our way back from seeing Dolder Grand Hotel. Be sure to see the awesome Rodin Gate next to the entrance here.

One of the iconic buildings in Zurich's old town. Interesting on the inside and you can pay a small fee to climb the tower for some great views of Zurich.

Unlike most churches, this one is not free to visit. There are wonderful Chagall windows at the back of the church that you can sit and enjoy. You get an audio guide that explains the background of each window which was quite interesting. The history of the church is quite interesting with the 2 sisters and therefore reflected in the name of the church. I would recommend just taking your time and take your numerous pictures and enjoy the beauty of the church. We enjoy the small crypt as well below the church. Enjoy
