- Deborah C3 contributionsWhat an incredible week! I really can’t thank Laura enough. She taught me so much in such a compressed timeframe and with such passion, enthusiasm and insight. Laura answered all the questions I could have asked before I needed to ask them. She helped me spot when something wasn’t quite right - not only did her hawk eyes catch where I’d gone wrong, she could explain to me why I’d made the mistakes I had, and the skewed logic that one can recognise and correct only with years of experience.
Although I had just 6 three-hour sessions across the week, what I learned was invaluable. It was so fulfilling and joyful to paint again after such a long time. Laura is such a wonderful teacher!
I hope to have the opportunity to return to the studio for another course/project in the not too distant future.

There's such a wide range of sculptures and with the history behind the place, it feels more like a living museum. I also had a chance to speak with Raffaello Romanelli, very friendly. I knew Fatacadabra thanks to a local friend and I loved it! Once you get in you are surrounded by delicate colors, drawings and photos that make the place so warm.

I highly recommend the classes, I painted a landscape of Florence and two flowers one outside in the botanical garden and one from a photo both watercolors gorgeous, ready to frame.

However, there was a very large assortment in my size- 41, which is often hard to find. What made this such an enjoyable time was Rebecca the employee. She let me try as many as I liked and gave good opinions when asked. Everything is made in the store, they have a little lovely working area. No plated jewelry, 100% 18k gold or sterling silver. They also have a large variety of ring stones, its amazing! - Clara L1 contributionMy driver, Tommaso, pointed out amazing views that I got photos of in Tuscany. He was friendly and personal- able and also very upbeat and positive. He drove me to my horse ride, a visit to a small town, and a wine tasting and lunch at a special quaint vineyard and winery, Nardi Viticoltori. He was a very competent driver and very easy to talk to and understand, as his English was quite good.
