What travellers are saying

A very good market, don’t bother going on any other day but Saturday. Definitely haggle on price, especially shoes and handbags. The mountain of clothes to rummage through is well worth it. There are some hidden gems if you are prepared to look. Very little high fashion but funWritten 24 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The other half clothes, dishes, accessorizes.
If you love markets, go there, otherwise, nothing special.Written 12 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CymroCoimbra, Portugal3,310 contributionsLocated by the Grand Canal this market sells an array of things, including; clothing, books, DVDs, antiques and plants. If you are at the canal on a Saturday morning, it is a pleasant few minutes looking for a bargain or an original souvenir, but I would not suggest making the trip for the market alone.Written 28 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Randy MSan Francisco, CA350 contributionsWonderful outdoor dining experience. Lots of energy and the staff is attentive. It’s hidden away off the main drag and nestled next to the store. Food is tasty and consistent.Written 8 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- PatchWellingMarlow, UK1,967 contributionsI went to the market which opens every Tuesday from a friend’s recommendation. He said that it was a local market and he was right!
It was a good market for exotic varieties of vegetables and I am gutted that I can’t buy any as we’re in a hotel and no where to cook.
It was cheaper than the shops along the street. I brought some clothes and fruit.
It had regular items that you expected to see in markets generally.
Worth a visit for sure.Written 3 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
