Both the Parmigiano-Reggiano and Parma Proscuitto factory tours were really unique and informative and you get a close up view of how these 2 traditional foods have been produced for generations.
I would highly recommend Food Valley tours to everyone travelling to the Emilia region and Parma in particular.

This trip is also such an incredible value for money when you look at the prices of other tours.

My tour guide, Silvia, gave a thorough and personal tour, but also patiently answered all my questions and helped me interact with the artists (more than just workers!).
The tastybus tour lived up to its name, with samplings of local products and some great photo opportunities in the countryside too.

All in all, we were very pleased with our tour guide and the tours and would definitely recommend this tour operator.
The parmasean cheese factory tour included generous tastings of 12 mth to well aged parmasean, red cow butter & superb ricotta, splashed down with sparkling wine!

We spent a very enjoyable four hours with Monica today exploring a bit of rural Parma with two in depth tours of both a cheese making facility and a Parma ham facility.
I was travelling alone, and TastyBus was the only tour that allowed group tours for individuals to sign up.

They arranged hotels, restaurants, walking tours, a tour of the Maserati factory, and all of the travel in between.
She gave us excellent suggestions on other attractions to visit outside of the tour.

The tours and visits were super well structured, organized, extremely informative, and very tasty!
Amazing tours and probably the best tour guide we've ever had, anywhere.

While there are numerous food-related tours in Emilia Romagna, we opted for a more active and literally "off the beaten path" tour in the countryside of Parma--San Secondo Parmense.
We have done cycling tours in many parts of the world and this trip is one of the best.

Laura speaks perfect English and is very knowledgeable of her tours.
I have done similar tours in different places and have to say that Laura was the best to be.

When we got there, Marianna & Lorenzo were waiting for us for what turned out to be one of the best tours we got anywhere.
We were scheduled to visit with a private 10k bike tour from Parma with Bike Food Tours but unfortunately had to cancel due to rain.

The cheese and prosciutto tours were so interesting, as well as the balsamic vinegar - all the foods of Parma.
This tour is highly recommended and her history knowledge is excellent.

Excellent guide, Stefania, great tours!
During both tours, we were able to observe various areas of the production process and our guide was very informative about the cheese and meat, the area and answered all of our questions.

We, a group of 5 friends, recently asked Itinera Emilia for suggested tours on our visit to the region.
It is important to say that our tour had a focus on food, but Amalda is a specialist in History of Art and she can get you anywhere in central Italy explaining every corner.

They are a fraction of the price compared to agencies offering factory tours at ridiculous prices.
