The trip was fantastic! Our guide Sonia was wonderful and kept us amused during the bus trip. Gianni our driver was outstanding and navigated the twisty roads of the Amalfi coast with ease. Our guide Vincenzo at Pompeii was amazing and really brought to life the culture of Pompeii. It was a long day, but I was thankful we were able to visit these sites from Rome without having to worry about anything. Even our two young nieces (11/13) gave the trip two thumbs up. What a fantastic day! Thank you!

We took the Big Bus tour as a way to see Rome as well as give our legs a break. The route itself is great, stopping at all of the major sites. The app allows you to track the bus to know how far it is from the stops. They provide headphones and commentary in different languages. The top floor has the best views but can get hot. The bottom has AC and is nice and cool. Buying the tickets online also provided a slight savings. They also had an option for a family pack, which was a few dollars cheaper too.

The downside is that some of the stops are very crowded, which is to be expected. Big Bus employees at the stops don’t do a good job of organizing people into lines. This causes unnecessary chaos and some people to have to wait a very long time, even though they were standing there first. We were even moved from the curb to farther back by an employee and told we’d be first on the next bus. That move caused us to have to wait for another 2 buses. It would make sense if there was a system or line set up.

Wow! This is creepy, intriguing, and informative - all at once! Fair warning: it does get a bit musty down deep and it’s a little weird in the lungs. If you are claustrophobic or asthmatic, use caution. I found all 3 sites super distinct and interesting. Learned a LOT about the beliefs of those times and the evolution since then. DEF a “trip” to see!

This was a great tour. You visit a catacomb from thousands of years ago where you can see how they buried their dead. Then you go to a bone “museum” where it is decorated with bones! Great guide!

The tour of pompeii was beautiful and in-depth with a very knowledgable tour guide (Sonya). She knew all about the history and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable.
We went to Sorento in the afternoon and that was beautiful with some stunning views. Cosimo was a fabulous guide and really helped make sure everyone was safe and well looked after. I would highly recommend this whole experience.

Initially all good, fast in out ,good drivers, then on the 30th of october, we jump on the bus at stop #4 around 3.40pm and each later stop ended with a long wait, no people going in out just wait and that last 6 stop runs took forever.
At 5:20 we exited at stop 2..making it nearly 2 h for the full turnwo traffic jam
Enough to not recommend that tour, we want to visit places, not be stuck on a bus for no factual reason

Vert interesting tour in the catacombs. Amazing historian guide in the catacombs who told about the fascinating history. Our bus driver Alessandro was truly amazing telling us about the city while driving us to and back from the catacombs.

We started with a speed train ride and met our guide Jessica at the train station in Florence. Jessica took us on a walking tour around some main parts of the city talking about the historical significance of some of the important buildings and showing us the replica of David. Jessica was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. Next we took an hour drive to a winery where our hostess Laura was the highlight of the trip. Amazing food, conversation, and of course wine tasting followed. It was my favorite part! Afterward we stopped for a quick visit to the small town of San Giginamo. Last, we were dropped off at the train station for a quick ride back to Rome. An amazing experience that I am so glad we didn’t pass up.

Tips: it is a long day start to finish, be prepared, the walking tour is a lot of standing and short walks over uneven surfaces, the wine is amazing and you’ll miss it when you leave.

A truly great man and a native of Roma who provided us with so much history and perspective. We saw everything to see at night during Christmas festivities and were able to walk around at times as well. We are grateful to him.

The driver was great! The guide was good but didn’t add a lot to the experience. To be fair it’s winter so not a lot was open. Pompeii guide was great. If you know the history and just want to see the best sites it’s best to set that up at the beginning and maybe try to get moving quickly.

This was a brilliant day tour from Rome. Our guide Frederica was a fountain of knowledge, energy and humour. Very appreciative that we were able to do this tour. Pompeii was extraordinary and Naples was very interesting.
