This was such an amazing experience! I will do it again chef Furio was so delightful and made the experience so much fun . The food came out so delicious best pasta I had while in Rome! Go check this out you will not regret it
Lees and Jon were the main hosts of our experience and they were exceptional! They made sure everyone in the group was well looked after and it was a very fun & informative experience from start to finish. We were given so much food & wine that we ended up cancelling dinner reservations and taking some pasta home! The staff in the second bar were all excellent also and made sure everyone was having a good time! I would definitely go to this class again if I were to return to Rome!
What an amazing experience, we had so much fun. It’s something I would highly recommend for couples or friends, as it’s something you can take home and use forever. This was a fun and experience and a highlight of our trip! Can’t wait to make this for friends and family at home
Benjamin and Sarrah were amazing! They kept the drinks coming and the entertainment was nonstop! The three hours flew by! Learning how to make pasta was something I've always wanted to do and this class made the experience that much better! Grazie mille!
This was an excellent experience. We were picked up on time outside the station and driven outside of Rome. We didn't make the dough as it needs time to rise but we were shown how to and given some pre-made pizza dough and shown how to shape it which was very useful. We then got to operate the pizza oven and eat. Afterwards we made two types of pasta from scratch. We made this but again it needs time in the fridge so we shaped and ate some premade dough. Half the class made the dough egg pasta and the rest made water based. We learnt how to shape the different types of pasta and how to make some sauces and again got to eat what we made. There was wine on offer and water. Once pasta was eaten we had a mini paper cup of tiramisu and some lemonchello which were both lovely.
We went on the the evening of Friday 16th March ahead of the rugby and the two chefs were brilliant and very interactive. We were a couple sharing with a group of American boys but everyone was made to feel very welcome and there was plenty of space for a group of 16. All of the staff were lovely.
You are well fed here but I wouldn't attend completely starving, have your lunch early. We got 2-3 small glasses of wine each on the trip. Overall for the experience we felt it was well worth €50pp.
After the class you are dropped back to the train station which will take you to all the main stops in the city on the blue Metro line and there are lots of options to change if you are staying somewhere else. We did the 5.45pm class and were back in the city before 10pm so a great option if you are in Rome even just for the weekend and want something different for an evening, with plenty of time to socialise after.
There was a hen party in the group after us and they were making pizza while we were in the pasta room and also seemed to really enjoy this. I think it would be great for all ages, single, couples or groups it doesn't matter.
I would 100% recommend this class and hope to return for an advanced class.
We had the best time learning how to make pasta and eating it! Plus we had fun meeting all the people and Giorgio the chef was a super nice and educated cook.
Had a lovely time. Think the tutor was called Sara, but can’t fully remember. It was great fun and very interesting. The food came out really yummy and enjoyed socialising with other people from different countries.
My husband and I really enjoyed Riccardo's class. He is so fun and playful while also very kind, accommodating, and helpful. We learned some awesome new cooking tips and can't wait to try the recipes at home on our own. Also, we both agreed this was the best carbonara we have ever had, and we've had a lot of carbonara lol. If you want to take a fun cooking class in Rome, look no further!
What a wonderful evening of pasta, tiramisu wine and new fiends! The quality of instruction was outstanding and the food, phenomenal. this was the highlight of our time in Rome and definitely recommend to anyone that are looking for a great experience, a fun evening and a memory to take back home.
