- FarAway48164795030Huntington Beach, CA1 contributionWe chose day trip.com for a transfer from Vigo Spain to Santiago Spain, with two stops along the way. As it turned out, our ship itinerary changed because of bad weather and we got off of our cruise in Lisbon instead. The plan was to get off the cruise and continue on land and spend 10 days in Spain.
At the last minute, day trip was able to change our itinerary with them to be picked up in Lisbon and to drive us to Santiago Spain.
Everything that day trip.com did exceeded our expectations. The driver arrived 15 minutes early to assist with our luggage, no problem in finding our hotel, which had also changed. The vehicle was a very nice Mercedes van. It was very clean and equipped with water and even charging cables for our phones. The driver, Pedro was courteous and had a solution for everything. We thought we would only be able to get one stop because the distance of our day trip was longer, but not only did he take us to Fatima, but he offered to take us to Valenca, which was the most beautiful, medieval town we had ever seen. This was at his suggestion. We also stopped for a lunch break. We were never rushed . Every thing we requested was taken care of with a smile and with ease. This day trip was probably the best and smoothest piece of a 23 day vacation which included a cruise through the Canary, Islands, Portugal and a 10 day stay in Spain.
I cannot commend this company more. Everything was excellent and exceeded every expectations. Pedro was fantastic. Thank you daytrip.com for making our vacation experience magnificent. Rising 170m over 1.2km it moves slowly on 2 cars from Via Toledo to Piazza Fuga, taking about 10 min, stopping 3 times. Our options were to take a train to Rome, then a bus to the airport. We had lots of luggage and were not looking forward to lugging it between modes of transportation going from train, to bus. Our daughter found FiumicinoExpress for us. It had a direct bus ride to the airport from Naples (nearby to Naples) and was recommended by USO. It was perfect. She dropped us at the bus stop. There were plenty of other folks at the bus stop waiting for the same bus. We felt comfortable. We showed the driver our printed confirmation, the driver checked our names off his list, we put our luggage in the bus luggage compartment, and we got on the bus. The bus got on the highway and took us to Terminal 3 curbside drop-off at the airport. The bus was comfortable, had a restroom for those of us who drank too much coffee before boarding and the ride was easy. No transfers and an on-time arrival at the airport. We highly recommend Fiumicino Express! Our guide inside Pompeii, Francesco, was SO experienced on the ruins and made it an outstanding experience. Diego filled us in on facts about the area and recommended a delicious pizza restaurant for lunch. They were on time and so friendly and accommodating. Our ship was delayed 2hrs due to weather, but the drivers were right there waiting which we appreciated.
The guides kept us moving and were excellent with time.
Our guide Antonello was fun and informative.
We had a little issue with the tickets at the Colosseum and he was very helpful.
Also, Italy may want to get him on the Olympic track team as he is very quick!

Very fast and responsive and always provided drivers with excellent service. - ChristineCAustin, TX16 contributionsWe took SNAV round-trip from Naples for a day trip to Capri. Buying advance tickets online was easy and saved time day-of. NOTE: you need to exchange your confirmation for an actual ticket. (This is clearly stated in the confirmation email.) Both ferries ran on-time, boarding process was easy and efficient. Seats were plentiful and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but no complaints. PS.
