The young Italian tour guide was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable (glasses, can’t remember his name). He made this last minute tour fantastic, we wandered about it by accident. Very impressed.

Very interesting guided tour to the 1700 years of history.
It is very close to the National archeological Museum and Museo Real Bosco in Capodimonte, so it is good to conect these tree visits to one day

The Museo Cappella Sansevero is a must visit for any art lover. The intricate details throughout the church are unbelievable and the audio tour explained the history of the chapel in great detail. The Veiled Christ is a sublime masterpiece, as are the various statues spread throughout. The nave, archways and ceilings are incredibly detailed and you could easily spend more than the allotted hour on your ticket admiring it.

Make sure to pre-book your tickets as people were being turned away at the door due to being sold out for the day.

We took a day to see this museum and ww were very impressed with all the works of art we could enjoy. There are a lot of artefacts from Herculaneum and Pompeii in this museum but if you are looking for the plaster casts of the poor people who perished, you can only see one. There are different areas with other things to see, Egyptian etc. This museum is an excellent place to spend the day and week worth the trip.

This street is a must visit when in the city. The atmosphere is beautiful and we would have loved to see this street during the Christmas season.

The shops are very similar, shrouded in good luck symbols such as the corniciello and Pulcinella. In addition to this there are many Christmas decorations and sculptures.

If you are looking for any kind of souvenir to symbolize your trip to Napoli you will find it here.

This is a great walk along the water. The view is excellent and there are several restaurants along the way. The sad part is the amount of litter on the streets that will end up in the water.

It is one of the most important streets of the city, and literally "splits" Naples in two. Furthermore, in Spaccanapoli there are buildings, churches and monuments of great architectural value. Spaccanapoli is the most famous street in Naples: not to be missed!

The castle (castel in Italian) is super ancient and is more like the fortress rather than castle. You will just go up and stroll outside looking over the walls to admire beautiful views of Mount Vesuvius, the gulf of Naples and city line. Honestly, there is not much to do and see there other than that, BUT it’s free and makes a lovely stop after a walk on promenade of Naples. We visited it like five years ago and it was super crowded, but this month we came back to bring my aunt who was visiting us and thanks to the required reservation needed online, there were only a few people and the visit was better this way. It felt like a relaxing time and we took some nice photos there. Highly recommend as a free cultural thing but don’t build high expectations.

Lovely building in Piazza Trieste e Trento which adjoins the nearby Palazzo. There are lots of cars in front, so difficult to get a good photograph. Very busy area with traffic so be careful.

The Basilica of Santa Chiara is a monumental building of worship in Naples, one of the most important and largest monastic complexes in the city. Absolutely worth a visit!

The piazza outside of the Royal palace is quite expansive and open. The day we were there was sunny and warm with a lot of children doing school visits. Worth visiting for the photos and then walking down to take some photos of Capri.

Very nice experience and much to learn. Amazing place.
You have a city below the city itself.
The galleries downstairs are amazing and the guide Luca made it so interesting, funny and enthusiastic.
    I highly recommend it.
The tour was also in English
