- Mandy A14 contributionsBarcelona is a city that never disappoints. The three of us spent two nights there in December with a day and a half to explore. We were lucky to have beautiful weather. We stayed at the H10 Madison hotel. Great location with a rooftop bar and plunge pool, with a view of the cathedral. Wandered round Barceloneta and the Boqueria market in the afternoon and evening. We saw the sunrise and had a swim at 9am in the heated pool. Glorious. Then off to Sagrada Familia. Jaw dropping, moving, incredible. I last saw it over 25 years ago before the inside was on full view. We followed the locals for coffees and snacks. Good move. Then later Casa Battlo. Another incredible place with a light show after dark externally. Just beautiful. The Christmas lights everywhere made it very special. We then hopped in a cab to the beach at Diagonal Mar, had a stroll in the sand then lunch at Xiringuito EscribĆ . Mmmm. Then rounded off the evening with flamenco. Always book your visits to the buildings etc beforehand as they get booked up early.Written 24 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Fiona LBirr, Ireland5 contributionsWe spent a lovely few hours making mosaics with Melissa at Mosaiccos. My daughter 6 decorated the top of a jewellery box with squares. Me and my son 10 braved the pincers and real tiles to make a photo frame and moon. The kids were so proud of themselves and loved the finished products. - Jean-Charles PBarcelona, Spain2 contributionsVery authentic contemporary and street art workshop. Itās better than a gallery, you get to see the backstage, where the artists work. You can also buy original artwork, I like the fact that all pieces are unique and handmade (not prints).
Close to several street art galleries.Written 26 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Bruce teach you basic techniques and gives you creative freedom. I decides to do a painting different from the class and successfully finish. Snacks and wine was delicious . Three hours went by so quick and I wanted to do another session . The wonderful thing is each class is a different artwork, If I ever return to Barcelona I would definitely book three or more sessions. Alisa and Bruce made painting a fun, and sociable activity.Written 5 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - paintswimdanceFlorida30 contributionsLivia Garretta is a wonderful artist, teacher and person. She is welcoming and makes the mosaic process fun and understandable. When I was there there were other people who were part of her student community taking classes and working and I felt welcomed. This was the best was to cap off my trip after seeing all of the Gaudis. highly recommend taking her 2 hour class to any artist. lover of mosaic or curious novice. I 100% recommend this !!
I forced my boyfriend to do this class with me and fair to say we both really enjoyed it! We were with another group of people who spoke in Spanish however the person in charge teaching us would speak to us both in English and Spanish.
We really enjoyed it and had lots of fun! Laughing at each others mistakes and the wine helped the laughs more.
We didnāt book the UV light painting just a normal light painting.
