This is a must-see Basilica from the outside and the inside. The architecture, design, and look are so fascinating that you can experience them with awe and wonder. We took a lot of photos both the inside and outside view of the Cathedral. Highly recommended for visitors in Barcelona.

All 5 of us (including 3 teenagers) absolutely loved this experience. We did the 8:30am ticket, which also got us access to the bedroom with very cool furniture. Took 1 hour. The iPad, self-guided experience was perfect. Would highly recommend!

We originally thought we would just tour this building, but when I read reviews from others indicating that they had actually watched a live performance, I searched the calendar and discovered that the Symphony Orchestra was going to be performing while we were in town. We therefore bought tickets and had an amazing time - not just enjoying the music but doing so in an incredibly beautiful building. (Some performance tickets also include the ability to do a self-guided tour in advance of the show.). If you are able to do so, I highly recommend catching a show here - it was one of the most enjoyable things we did while in Barcelona.

No queues beginning of December. Many floors and rooms to see. There is a lift to take you to the attic and again to the roof bearing in mind there are stairs to negotiate...not too many...and many steps on the rooftop as it meanders up and down.
A small gift shop halfway up and a larger shop on the ground floor. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Such a characteristic Gaudi building. We enjoyed it.

The Basilica is worth a visit, it doesn’t match the wow factor of Familia Sagrada or Barcelona Cathedral, but it has its own stark beauty, plus, the rooftop offers great views, especially over the port area.

A truely interesting visit to Gaudi’s first project.

Well preserved and with the easy audio guide on your phone, you can select which rooms to see when and hear what.

Further it does not seem overcrowded so space to walk around and enjoy the experience

I really enjoyed Palau Guell. It was an interesting place to visit, unique and a little bit haunting. Worth checking out!

This is a wonderful historic hospital complex barely a ten-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia, along a pedestrianised, tree-lined avenue. The exterior architecture of the various buildings is absolutely stunning. What we saw of the interior architecture and ornate decorative work was jaw-droppingly beautiful. Disappointingly though, during our visit towards the end of November, several of the twelve pavillions were not open which was a bummer.

The adult rate for a self-guided visit is currently 17 Euro. We easily spent an hour and a half on site, so considered it good value for money compared with Barcelona’s generally very expensive entry fees. There is a small, attractive gift shop in the main entrance building. Staff is very friendly, including at the information counter and at security screening. Conveniently, there are free lockers provided if one wishes to leave bags or coats behind; just don’t forget to retrace your steps instead of leaving the complex through the large Administration Complex. We were impressed by the cleanliness of all outdoor spaces and the visitor toilets were also spotless.

Despite our disappointment at the many closed pavillions, we would highly recommend a visit.

Amazing museum. It’s small but that’s a plus in my opinion. You can actually see the whole thing. And the Miró-Matisse exhibit there til fall 2025 is fantastic. The museum is worth the trip from the Gothic Quarter etc whether or not you combine with a broader trip to Mountjuic.

Very nice area. This is a great area for walking, shopping, cafes and rooftop bars. The area feels very safe and it extremely clean. It is getting incredibly busy with tourists. I can completely understand the residents concerns about tourism.

Architecture was amazing. Well worth a visit. The outside gives you a taste of what is to come. You are guided around this house in a small group with an audio guide. They give you plastic to put on your feet and a tour guide opens the rooms one at a time while you listen to the audio. This house is so different to Gaudi’s but very interesting and well worth a visit if you are in Barcelona.

First, I was very critical of the Caixa Forum in Barcelona, but when we arrived it convinced me to be a super decision!

The guided English tour was excellent. There were just two of us so we essentially had a private tour. Our guide provided so much detail as to the history of the site and he answered all our questions very well. This house is not as well known as other Gaudi sites so it was very quiet when we first arrived in the morning. It got a little busier by the time we left but not crowded. This was a really interesting site (one of my favorites). We took a taxi to the house since we were running late but walked to the metro and took the metro back afterwards. Not a long walk at all. Highly recommend.

One of the most dramatic Modernista buildings in BCN. We walked slowly by, lingering to take photos. You can get a good shot as this one is located on the broad Passeig.

I loved my recent trip to the Monestir de Pedrables - a peaceful, beautiful oasis. Excellent value as it only cost 5 euro entry. Friendly staff and an easy to follow self guided tour. Loved it.
