They have this system where it's only one person in the group that can sign up and the others have to wait to sign up until that person has song. We arrived at midnight and my boyfriend signed up first and got to sing within 30 minutes and then I had to wait over an hour after that before I got to sing. I found this a bit frustrating. This place is for people who have dance in their hearts and rhythm in their feet and do not want to dance with their grandchildren. No wallflowers need attend. There is absolutely no standing still on the dance floor. Take it to the wall. This is for us old heads who rejoice in our spirits and our lives. Listening to the songs that we grew up with. The women are sophisticated in their dresses, looking sexy at any age. Men wear white shirts and shoes. There is karaoke that you can sign up for when you come. Bring your posse and claim your spot in the limelight. Dance cheek to cheek at around 6 pm until 7:30 pm, then the joint is jumping until you leave. Buying a drink will allow you to leave, There is a place to put your pocketbooks and coats, so you do not have to carry them around, and it is safe as houses. The people running the place are super nice and friendly. No need for a partner just bring yourself and find a spot on the dance floor and move it, move it! If you are on vacation with your favorite man or woman and you are 45 + and want to dance, this is the place for you. You will always find me on the Dance floor on Sunday.
