One of the most magnificent things I have seen in my life. We took the audio guide and it was perfect since we could pause it when needed. I cannot believe how almost every stone has its story, why is it put there, and how everything combines into one big story. We planned to be there 1,5 hours but ended up admiring it full 3 hours (inside + tower + museum under the basilica).
The tower was nothing special, you can move max of 10 steps when you get to the top.

A fantastic and historic spot of beautiful buildings and monuments that would be a 5+ review but for the throngs of tourists that dominate the area. Still, a great and extraordinary spot even with all the tourists.

Worth a visit, massive stadium and very popular. Went on hop on bus here as quite a way out from old town. Big shop, cafes.

Lovely edifice but too crowded that it looses its charm. We wanted to assist to a ceremony but it was just impossible. Next time I would come back during winter time.

This is an old hospital built just over 100 years ago and was still functioning as a hospital 15 years ago. This is unlike any other hospital you will ever have visited. The view from the first flood of the main building towards the Sagrada Famillia are amazing.

This is really worth to visit if you are interested in local art history. It is possible also to get to the roof of the building. There are nice views.

Once in a lifetime experience! Gaudi was an amazing artist who saw the world and was able to design in a way for us, mere mortals, to be transported to another place. La Familia Sagrada is an incredible place to visit. Definitely a place you do not want to be rushed. You will want to watch the light stream through the windows, the sculptures depicting the scenes from the Bible. An incredible church that is hard to put into words. Buy your tickets early and go with a guide otherwise you will be stuck in a very long line!

This is a nice place to walk about for a while before you enjoy the magic fountain. It is also nearby the Arenas of Barcelona Mall.

We were really surprised by this large museum. It doesn’t look big from the outside but the museum is underground! Filled with hands on experiences and a beautiful set up. We only had an hour, which was too short. My teens loved the rain forest, dust storm simulation, etc. Wished we would have had more time here. The descriptions were in Spanish, English, Catalan. They have a cafe to chill and get a snack and water experiments outside. There is a bus that stops right in front. Definitely add this one on to your list.

Our visit to Casa Vicens was very enjoyable mainly due to the welcoming and helpful staff and the excellent audio guide which can be downloaded via a QR code to your mobile phone. The guide takes you from room to room explaining features and Gaudi’s inventiveness and ingenuity to work within a budget without compromising the wonderful final result.
The house is a little difficult to find but well worth the effort. It is less crowded than other places in Barcelona.
