Great local guide and great tour. You could really feel the history of the places we visited, coming alive. Also great attention to the local society and great vista's and spots. A big recommend.
Very enjoyable. Great guide, Pavel was a great source of information. The bus driver, Miguel, was amazing. Narrow, very curvy roads in steep terrain. Very ĝood vistas of different kinds of vegetation. Would do it again.
Very pleasant tour in the mountains. Fortunately, the weather was great and the views spectacular. The guide was very interesting and helpful and the driver was perfect on the mountain roads. If you want to see the main spots in the mountains of northern Gran Canaria, this is the trip for you. Highly recommended.
This was a superb 4 hour tour in a small group bus allowing good interaction with fellow punters as well as the guides. I booked specifically for the first stop at the picturesque rock formations, but the caves were also an unexpected delight. The narrative on the tour really brought the history of the area to life and it was lovely to see the rural village too. Snack lunch is provided which was very welcome. A reasonable level of fitness is required and don’t forget to bring water.
Very informative and it was obvious our guide is very knowledgeable about her vineyard, willing to answer questions and we enjoyed our glass of wine and local nibbles at end of tour
A very enjoyable day with a very good guide and just as important driver. The only downside was the organisation on early pick up from our hotel. We were picked uo driven to Playa Del Inglis for next stop then back past our hotel to Melonaras and past our original pick up on the way out. Given we only had 35 minutes at Botanical gardens this 20 minutes of wasted time would have been better used at a stop. Vegueta was a lovely stop and had a nice lunch on seafront to finish the day. As it turned out the weather in Las Palmas was excellent as we returned to torrential rain and winds down south. A good tour to get a feel of Las Palmas.
An amazing experience. The whole family loved the drive up through mountains with amazing views, finishing with spectacular sunset. The guide, Plecido was so nice, informative and made following him so easy. The kids loved the car too. Highly recommend.
A very good tour to old towns in central GC as well as the mountains and rocks. The guide didnt describe the sights sufficiently and just stopped the coach and said meet back at a set time. It could have been more informative.
Excellent guide. Well timed visits. The 40 minute cheese and wine tasting was in a sterile modern characterless hall above a food market. Cost €7 and that gave you 6 thin slices of 3 different cheeses and one minimal glass of red or white wine. Best left out of the trip or move it to the excellent coffee plantation in an amazing valley with it's own micro-climate. Overall then the trip was good value and very enjoyable.
It was a perfect hiking on a perfect day! Started out a bit windy and chilli but it just got better and better throughout the journey. We saw so many amazing views and learnt so much about the history of the area!
I’ve been coming to Gran Canaria for almost 20 years and never knew that this island was originally inhabited for 2,000 years by 3,000 peace loving aborigines!!!!
Our guide told us all we needed to know and more….fascinating stuff!
We loved seeing their life before the sad and tragic Spanish conquest of 1478-1483. The museum in Gáldar was impressive. The small group of 14 people were the only ones in the protected space.
