We were staying in Corralejo, the beach and sand dunes are absolutely beautiful, the sea is so clean and warm and the dunes go on forever so finding a quiet space to spend the day is not a problem. If you are in the Corraleco area go and enjoy nature at its best!

On the Canary island of Fuerteventura, Playa de Cofete and the road to Cofete are almost legendary.

Many people visit Moro Jable and go no further, but this popular resort is the starting point of the road to Cofete on the other side of the island.

It is best experienced in a 4x4 vehicle, and there is a 4x4 bus service from Moro Jable, but many people take their rental cars there in defiance of the rental companies rules.

The reason they do so, is to see the magnificent spectacle of this wild beach and the landscape that it is set in.

We went a step further and took our motor home there on the winding mountain unmade road, not something I would recommend, if you are not used to driving large vehicles on tight roads.

You can see our video on YT. We didn't stay the night as was planed as the weather was cold and very very windy, rocking our mobile home, which was a shame, as it would have been wonderful to walk the seemingly unending beach if the weather was better.

Many pictures, videos and reviews of this beach have been posted, and it really is amazing to see it first hand, all the pictures in the world cannot give you the true feeling of being in this amazing vast, natural location.

If you decide to visit this amazing place, be aware it is very very remote, and although there is a (very) small village with a restaurant, it is best to take your own food and water as you need to be self-sufficient. Phone signal is also hit and miss on various parts of the "road".

If you need to call for help it will be a long time coming….

This is most certainly a bucket list 'tick'

Had a wonderful day at Oasis Park, and highly recommend going here. We did the lemur experience, which was superb. Also had my daughter and her friend on the camel experience, that they thoroughly enjoyed. Highlight was the sealion show, which was exceptional.

Absolutely loved it! We got a speed boat over from Corralejo which was a brilliant and exhilarating way to travel. When we arrived we decided to walk round the whole island and also to climb the volcano. If you turn right from where the boat docks you can stay at some small beaches with beautiful shallow water, or go to the restaurant. This part was very busy but when you get past it you barely see anyone. The island itself it’s stunning, the water around you and the scenery is to be admired. The volcano is a steep and tiring short walk but worth it for the views at the top. We were there 4 hours and actually could have done with a bit longer. Highly recommend for beach lovers, walkers, or people that want to try something new.

Has always been a mystery to us so decided to spend some time exploring when we visited the south of the island. Really lovely stretch of beach with many a hotel and apartment block towards the back of the beach. Found a couple of small shopping centres but couldnt locate lots of bars and restaurants. I'm guessing its a more all-inclusive crowd that enjoy the resort. It was nice for a couple of hours with the beach really being the star.

Great beach never crowded and safe swimming. Some naturists at the northern end and you can also find a beach to yourself here.
The new beach bar cafe was a huge dis’s appointment after the excellent torinos that was there before. Our drink’s portions for coffee and wine were tiny.

We ventured here during a holiday in Costa Calma after being told not to miss.
On arrival, we stopped just outside at Jandia, which is about 10 mins walk from MDJ. Plenty of shops with a stunning promenade taking you along the beach to the destination. The beach is beautiful, very clean and breathtaking views, Plenty of bars and restaurants overlooking the sea.
Would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves picturesque little gems to visit

Wow, the Monumento Natural de Ajuy is a lovely view. A nice little walk from the car park and along the way you may get to see a few chipmunks roaming around.

There are a couple of viewpoints were you can get nice photos. The walk down to the caves is via an uneven path and steps but is very safe. Inside the cave can be slippy be careful if you go further back in the dark.

    A great view and scenery

Park itself seemed okay, fairly clean. Could do with a bit of investment on umbrellas and loungers.
My other half and teenager enjoyed the rides, I can’t swim so didn’t venture into any.
Not many places to escape the sun so make sure you smoother yourself in lotion.
We took a picnic nobody bothers you.
Lockers were tiny and cost €5 euros which is a p take.
Also you can hire the rubber rings to go down the slides. I just feel as they are cashing in rather than having plenty of inflatables to use.
Photography people wanted €60 euros for just 20 photos. They come as a digital only.
All in all ok but feel as though they are exploiting us a little bit.

First time visit to this part of Sotavento beach which by way of a location pinpoint is just by the large Melia Fuerteventura hotel. Reached from the FV2 turning just after Costa Calma there is a tarmac road leading to dusty car park and a further dirt track to a closer beach car park if you fancy the offroad drive. The views are stunning with a lagoon, streams, sandy mountains and miles and miles of pure sand. Popular with water sports enthusiasts there is plenty of room for everyone! Worth visiting even if just to admire the view and the surrounding landscape.

The biggest wow from our holiday this week is the beach 🏖 𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄!!! White sand, crystal clear turquoise water, comfortable sun loungers - with a perfect sea breeze. We've genuinely just spent every day chilling out and relaxing on this beautiful, idyllic beach. Comfortable sun loungers, not crowded, no noisy groups, warm waters - I genuinely would come back to Morro Jable just for this beach!

Stayed at H10 Tindaya in Jandis. It was a fantastic holiday from start to finish. The hotel was very clean, very stylish , comfy bed and the staff were great. Fabulous restaurant, coffee shop, pool bar, gym, swimming pools, and entertainment. The beaches had lovely golden sand and rocky coves. We loved going in the sea and looking round the fish in the coves. We were only there for a week in October and it was amazingly hot. Best holiday we have had in years. Thank you to all the staff who work there we absolutely loved our holiday. Thank you x Julienne and Dave from the UK x
