The cooking class segment was absolutely fantastic. We all had chances to do every step, the food was delicious, and the chef/instructor was amazing. - Kristina L3 contributionsLeon and Ana were excellent hosts and teachers. We learned how to cook three separate dishes, all authentic, as well as a recipe for Sangria.
We learned a lot of Spanish history along the way, and the class was relaxed, friendly and fun. I'm not much of a cook, but I felt that the instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Our host was informative and provided a really good, honest perspective about the role Paella plays in Spain and the differences between tourist paella and real paella. The food was great, the service was great. We also got to taste sangria while eating paella out on the beautiful rooftop of La Terraza del Cristina. Antonio is a fun and engaging host who is passionate about authentic Spanish cuisine. The paella and homemade sangria were both delicious, easily the best quality I tasted in Spain. The experience was also a fantastic way to meet other travelers from all around the world!! - Joey HDenver, CO3 contributionsIf you’re going to do a Seville wine tasting this is the one to do! First all organic wine shop in Spain. Oscar was the best. My girlfriend and I had the best time with him. He knows his wine and was a great hang. He also provides a food pairing with each wine. Annette is Canadian, and speaks perfect English. Jose is from Spain, and doesn’t speak much English, but we were able to have a good conversation with Annette being interpreter. The food was great. The wine was even better… We really enjoyed it. We would definitely do this tour again. Annette also emailed us several of her recipes. Being picked up and led by David was like having a friend show you around which made it so different from more traditional tours. And then being welcomed into the home of Lucia and Antonio was like being welcomed as family. We enjoyed amazing homecooked food of wonderfully fresh ingredients and my children were treated as they would be by grandparents. Lucia is the abuela everyone needs - radiating love and welcome. It was also so nice to observe the loving relationship between Lucia/Antonio and David and to have a view into the history of a family who has shared this home for 200 years. Just incredible. One of my favorite things was witnessing how friendship and welcome can transcend language - David was an extremely able translator but so many things didn't need to be translated. This experience will be a treasured family memory. The experience was excellent: the place with the view, the host Fernando and of course paella, which we have made with the group together. I took two teenagers and they both loved it!!! It was fun and informative!!
