- annacwardGranada, Spain4 contributionsI had a fun time. The two hour session is well set up so that you can be a complete beginner at art but still produce something fun. Painting with neon paint in ultraviolet light makes it feel special. Suitable for children or adults.Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ro B1 contributionLoved taking the class with Kate! Really well prepared and taught, and helped put my visit to Al Hambra into context so I could really appreciate just how intricate the process of designing the palace was... Such a great way to get as much from my trip to Granada as possible!Written 4 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amber M1 contributionWithout doubt, the Flamenco Dancing, History & Music course has been the best authentic travel and dancing experience I've ever had (and I've been dancing and travelling for many years!). Everything was unbelievable - it's hard to know how to begin describing the experience.
I'll start with the stunning town of Moclin - what an absolute gem hidden high up the mountain. The tiny village has the most incredible views and is steeped with history, with the Moclin castle ruins serving as a backdrop to the accommodation where the course was held. How can one not be inspired by such surroundings?
The course content, teachers and lessons far exceeded my expectations - it was a truly immersive experience. Jacob and Natalie were both very knowledgeable, passionate and true Flamenco masters. They helped me to understand that Flamenco is so much more than just how the steps are danced. On this course, I learnt about WHY it is danced, from authentic Flamenco tutors - an experience I feel is invaluable.
Ian and Andrew (and Alfie the dog #selfiewithalfie) are the reason this experience is so fantastic. I cannot express how grateful I am to have had them as our hosts. From the utterly delicious food they made, to the unique and interesting tours they took us on, to the fabulous conversations around the lunch and dinner table, they are the consummate hosts. They clearly have a love for what they do, as well as for Moclin, and it shows in every detail of the course.
Thank you Ian and Andrew for giving me this experience - I will never forget it and this will always be a very special memory for me. I'll see you again next yearWritten 11 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
