    Beautiful natural art
    Although small, I am glad to have visited the Red Gallery. The exhibits were wonderful, huge fossils and ammonites.
    If you find this type of thing interesting then worth a visit.

    Fantastic museum
    This museum is a part of the Deitorhallen in Hamburg but located outside the city. Located in what must be an old converted warehouse the museum has a quite unique feel to it.

    We saw the Raymond Pettibon exhibition which was exceptional.

    The museum has very limited opening hours and mostly have only guided tours, and mostly in german. The guide we experienced was both capabable and very engaging in her tour.

    The museum focuses on counter art which makes it very interesting

    Amazing modern art in the Kunsthaus Hamburg
    We visited this place for the modern art exhibition. We were not much interested in the other areas. The modern art is located in a separate building close to the main building. It has four floors located around a tall big room. We liked the exhibition a lot. There is a lot of surprises from famous artists but also less known artists. For us one of the best modern exhibitions in Germany.

    avant garde exhibitions
    one of the 5 museums on the kunstenmeile. Large spaces facilitate large exhibits and the museum takes full advantage of this, even showing a programme of artistic films. Audio and visual exhibits were on when I went. Definitely worth a call in as it's near the Diechterhallen anyway and included in the kunstmeile ticket
