Perfect site to play beachvolleyball in Berlin, located close to the city center - and a nice chill-out area also.

The school class form Norway had a good time here. A perfect hour for 20 teenagers visiting Berlin.

Great bathhouse and swimming pool that is worth visiting for the classic art deco architecture alone, as well as to have a regular cultural swim and sauna spa experience German style.
Nice cafe attached to spa area.
The only down side was the slightly grumpy woman at the cash desk, and the fact that the swimming pool attached to the spa was closed for a private function whilst I was there, and I was not initially told the directions to the main swimming pool.
But all in all highly recommended for anyone who wants to see a bit of the real Berlin and who is a continental spa/sauna fan like me.

When it’s hot in Berlin it’s hot. There are several Strandbad in the city too chose between . The price to get in is 5 euro, rent a Sunbed 3 euro. There is a bar and a grill where you can by food. We brought our own picnic. The lake is in a huge park .

If you could go there in a not-busy day, then you can enjoy their super nice water and environment. Everything works well around there, and you can buy your tickets online. Tickets after 8:00 are also cheap

Really awesome place. People friendly. The website could be better when buying tickets. Great pool though and very clean. So so many people but everyone were fairly polite and accommodating of others. Security on the ball. Life guards also on the ball. Went with my family on a five day trip to Berlin. It's a great 'local' experience. Queues for food and drink too long. Not allowed to eat near the pool. Fair enough. Very good value for money.

Der Kegel was one of our favorite places to go with friends on a weekend in Berlin. They rent climbing harnesses and shoes if you need it. You can climb off the tower by top rope (or lead), or spend the day bouldering around the complex. There is a bier garten with great pilsners and tasty sandwiches or eats. Even if you don't climb, it is an entertaining place to go hang out.

It is located a very short walk from the Warschauer Strasse S&U-Bahn stop.

Definitely worthwhile if you are looking to get away from the tourist areas and spend some time surrounded by locals in a cool setting.

Heaven on a hot day as water is freezing cold! I was there with 37 degrees outside, don't think I'd try it with 25 degrees... On Sunday like this extremely busy, very mixed crowd, generally unpleasant. Will go back again only with a heatwave

i really liked the locationbut the service was absolutely horrific! we had a lounge reservation and nobody was able to tell us how that works so we were walking around looking for someone in charge. we managed to get half of what we reserved combined with pretty bad service! however the crowd was good and the location is amazing!

Popped into here as we passed by as it looked like it served a great selection of German/Bavarian food with vegetarian options and it definitely didn't disappoint.

    Friendly waitress, tasty healthy food.

The decor and vibe made the whole place even better.

Alas, it was cold, rainy and mid-March when I was here so I could only look. I’m so impressed that this pool is still open and functional. What a great piece of Olympic history. So glad I got to see it. Hopefully, next visit I can swim in it!

There are two pools one bigger and one for smaller kids. It is inexpensive and has lovely area, showers and toilets. It does not have eating possibilities (some ice-cream and soft drinks were available), so bring on your own food and drinks.
Entrance fee can be payed only in cash, about drinks not sure, probably also only cash.

A small lake with easy access, but managed by the Capuccino Grand Café restaurant. Access costs 8 €. Once there you can enjoy a pleasant space full of hammocks, umbrellas and the pleasant shade of tall trees. But the entrance of drinks or food is not allowed, not even water! Capuccino Grand Café wants to do business by having you buy their drinks and food. The line at the bar is huge. The service is simply appalling. There is no price list for food, just for drinks. So your bill will be a surprise if you don't ask first about the prices.
The toilet is really disgusting and is out of the swimming area. And in an area that seems simply abandoned, in a space full of junk and poorly marked. Dirty, clogged toilets, bad smell. Supposedly a posh Strandbad which costs 8€ and a bar too expensive should at least have clean toilets.
