Fun. Interesting. We visited at Christmas time and it was apparent that they had made the scenery look like winter with snow, santas and Christmas-based facts. Informative and somewhat interactive. Enjoyed our visit but would say that it's probably more suited to children (if you're in Berlin with kids I'd definitely recommend).

My 9 & 11 year old English speaking sons were too big for this museum. After 30 min they said that there is nothing to do for them at this museum. It is interestingly presented activities and in historic building but not for us. We saw only small children on Sunday morning. The price is 7€ per child. Around there are many good places to eat.

My kids are 8 and 10 and love to play freely rather than visiting a more restricted kind of museums. This place was perfect for them and they played for 2-3 hours with simple but creatice toys. Perfect for a rainy day or a more relaxed experince than many of the more popular activities in Berlin. There are sofas and café available for parents to relax (very important!).

Beautifully done. Our kids were far too old but we would have LOVED it when they were younger. Ideal for preschoolers. Our kids loved it anyway (in a slightly self conscious way). Clean, creative, inspiring for any aspiring designer in terms of the sculptures of animals. We'd come from Amsterdam and Anne Frank (on our way to Krakow and other sad stories of the Holocaust). This is as a great way to talk about the events from a hopeful perspective. Free entry but you have to take or pay for socks for all kids (even if they say they won't want to play - they will).

Berlin is full of many museums, but this museum is a must see! Interesting insight in different foods from around the world, and you get to try to eat some of it.
