Romain was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines and many more. No question was unimportant. He took great care to explain the nuances of different wines. We highly recommend Romain.

We had a great time on this wine tasting trip! Beautiful scenery and very friendly and knowledgeable guides. We probably tried 10-15 wines total and definitely felt we got our money’s worth! We bought a few bottles to enjoy later! Our only constructive criticism would be to add any sort of food to the tour. After 5 hours of drinking wine with nothing but water we were all a little worse for wear! I recommend bringing snacks.

Emile was a great guide for this half day trip into wine country. Two tastings at different style/size wineries made the experience more interesting. Could have used a cracker or two at each.

This day tour was extensive and covered numerous villages and historic sights in Provence, our driver/guide was Bridgett and her knowledge was excellent, also her commentary in English was good, we drove a small private van with 8 passengers which was very comfortable, on reflection I wouldn’t change anything.

Easily one of the best and most intimate, thoughtful tours I have ever been on! Our guide, Arnaud (also tour company owner), was so educated on all of the wineries, vineyards, and appellations of the regions we visited. It was a perfect way to experience the fantastic appellations near Avignon with an excellent, hand picked Provençal lunch picnic at one of the vineyards on the tour. From booking to drop off, the entire process was smooth, convenient, and extremely enjoyable. If you are looking for a nice day trip to check out some local wineries near Avignon, please reach out to Arnaud and have him lead you through the journey; you won’t regret it!

Emile was amazing. He had all the facts because they were his story, his family history, back to his grandfather. I never had such a personal tour. I only wish I could find his equivalent in every tour I take going forward. As we travelled from important site to important site he used the travel time to prep us in depth for what was next so that when we arrived we were prepared, We were ready to grasp the history, the human story of this slice of the past as if we had witnessed it ourselves! I shall never be able to thank Emile enough. Thank you trip advisor.

Our guide showed us three lovely parts of the French countryside (Nimes, Uzes and Pont du Gard). The five hour tour was well balanced with history and sightseeing but your experience may vary if the group is large (we had two total guests which was lovely). 6 hours would have been ideal because Uzes has a lovely restaurant area that would have been great for a lunch break along the tour! There was an opportunity to get sandwiches, ice cream, etc at Pont du Gard. Great time and definitely recommend the tour! Thank you Anne!

Natalie was friendly and informative. The tour started on time. Her driving and organisational skills excellent. We were able to see three lovely historic towns and stop at a Lavender Field.

However, visits to the towns, especially Gordes & Rossillon were too rushed. As public transport is not available to Gordes, and if you do not have a car, a tour is the only option to see that historic town. Recommend tour is advertised as finishing at 3 PM not 2 PM and that the Gordes stop is for a morning tea break of at least one hour. Similarly in Rossillon in order to have lunch, take the ochre rock walk and view the town, at least one and a half hours is recommended.

David was a fantastic and very knowledgeable tour guide! We enjoyed our day in Provence and learned all about wine making in the area. David hand picked incredible places for us to visit and always made sure to get pictures for the group. As a young couple, we were worried that we wouldn’t be as knowledgeable as the other group members. David assured us and always gave very informative answers to our questions. I would recommend this tour to couples of any age!

Nice trip. Pont du Gard is fantastic. And our guide had a lot of information about its history. The amphitheatre we were on our own with headsets to explore. Learned a lot about the wine growing in the area. Good day. NOTE: I missed that we had to pay for our own tickets at the Roman Ampitheatre. It will add 11 euros to the price.

We were so happy we did this!! Zarah, our guide, so knowledgeable. This tour did not duplicate our previous walking tour and palace tour. The five food stops were terrific and true to the region. Plenty of exercise. Highly recommend! Our guide even helped us with a dinner reservation and cab ride for our departure, which was tricky due to the Festival.

We had a wonderful experience exploring the towns of the Luberon with our French guide, Arnaud. He is a member of the A La FRANCAISE company! Not only was he extremely informative and easy-to-understand, but he had a great sense of humor and friendly attitude, which made our interactions enjoyable and memorable. Having a guide who not only caters to your interests but also engages with you in a personable manner can truly enhance your overall experience and make learning or exploring a new language and culture a lot of fun. We can’t wait to return to Provence and hire Arnaud as our guide. If you do the same, you will enjoy your tour as much as we did!
