One of the world’s greatest museums. Particularly strong on the Impressionists but worth visiting for the building alone. Free on first Sunday of the month but you need to book as soon as the tickets are released.

A jaw-dropping masterpiece! Even with a little "under construction" flair during my visit, this iconic beauty is an absolute must-see. It’s like meeting a celebrity who’s temporarily in a bathrobe—you know the full glamour is there, just waiting for the big reveal.

Already penciled in for a future encore. Paris, you irresistible charmer, I’ll be back! 🥖✨

I thoroughly enjoyed an impromptu visit to tour the Palais Garnier.
The art and architecture are decadent and phenomenal. The pictures do not capture the beauty of the place.
I did a self guided tour and it was perfect. I even had a moment to go into the auditorium and the orchestra was doing some warm ups.
It’s worth a stop by and soak in the beauty and ambience.
While I didn’t have time to attend a live performance; the tour was a great way to spend the time.

It's really hard to put into words how beautiful this chapel really is. The stained-glass work is probably one of the best you'll ever see.
We were there for the Easter concert they do every year. Listening to the Ave Maria inside such magnificent place was an extraordinary experience.

This is my favourite museum in Paris. Whether you have a short or long time in Paris THIS is THE one to see especially if you love Monet and impressionism. It is even better if you know a little bit of the history of how this museum came to be as the whole story of how Monet painted these works of art and how they came to be located in this specifically designed museum is truly an epic experience. If you get there on opening you have some of the most peaceful viewing with no crowds, but any time is an amazing experience.

No need to repeat what 100’s of reviewers have already said, this place is highly recommended a visit if your never been before, my wife and I and 14yr old daughter found our visit very interesting and curious !
Don’t forget to book online on the official website exactly one week before your visit, we arrived on Monday having already booked and it was sold out for the day.
Marked down one star as apparently they don’t provide an audio commentary device to children meaning I had to share mine with my 14yr old despite paying €60 !! An unnecessary cost cutting exercise by them 🙄

We visited this museum on a cold weekend in November, and it was a fascinating stop. So much history that, as an American, I wasn’t aware of. We really enjoyed all of the exhibits but particularly the chapel and the tombs. I recommend stopping here.

This is a wonderful museum in an elegant mansion. The rooms are interesting and both the ground and upper floors have some nice paintings. The real surprise, though, was a lower level with a large collection of great Monet paintings - a gift from Monet's last surviving son.

The staff were helpful - we arrived on the wrong date with our paid tickets, and they let us in anyway. The museum had great benches for viewing the Monets. Best of all, the museum was not over-stuffed with tourists. There was room, and time, to linger and really look at the great paintings.

My husband, teenage son and I are always looking for off the beaten path activities when we visit a city. This place was exactly what we were looking for. Our fabulous guide Liber showed and explained the games and rides throughout the viewing area. Both children and adults had a lot of fun. At the end we got to ride and pedal on the bicycle merry-go- round that is over a hundred years old. We had a wonderful time indeed!

There is a lot to see in the free section, therefore if on a budget a nice way to spend couple of hours on a cold and rainy day. The José de Ribera 17 century artist temporary exhibition which has an entrance fee, is well worth the fee and absolutely outstanding with works of art regrouped from several international galleries/ museums. A must see if in Paris and visiting the Petit Palais museum.

Breathaking monument outside. Stunning architecture, please stop and appreciate prior to running in. Once inside the solemnity of the structure is evident, again breathtaking art. The resting place of Victor Hugo etc. 3 hours to fully appreciate all this is required

I am no fashionista I will say. But no matter your background this is a stunning display of beauty, skill, creativity and technology. Truly breathtaking and absolutely worth the wait and time. Leave some time to read some of the history and if you are not GF like me the cafe looked super cute and I wished I could have had a treat there.
