On easy and time efficient way to see the Palace. Our transportation guide, Barrett (an American from CO), met us near the train station and accompanied us to the Palace. He walked around the train while offering advice on things to do in Paris, transportation options, etc.

He left us at the palace (10 minute walk from train station on flat ground with only one turn) in the hands of another guide who was with us for 2+ hours and did an excellent job. We had headsets and as such could hear the guide even if we wandered off to take pictures. We had ample time but could not really linger long.

The Palace is quite crowded but if you are quick you can get some pictures without any or too many people in the shot.

As it was winter, the garden fountains were not on, most statues in the gardens were covered and nothing was in bloom. Accordingly, when our guide left us we did not spend much more time on the grounds.

The benefit of going by train (vs coach) is that you could stay on the grounds longer or in town if you liked - a better option in warmer weather. The train also had other stops in Paris closer to other attractions like the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, so don't necessarily get off where you boarded the train in Paris. Trains run every 15 minutes or so and are easy to find and catch.

The tour guide was amazing. She was funny, cheeky, and was so informative. I wanted to give her a tip at the end, but I wasn't sure if it was appropriate. I learned so much more from that tour guide than I had on any other tour the week I was in Paris. Don't miss the bus. Get there early, as the seats fill up quickly. The experience was very good. It was actually great. However, the place, Versailles, was PACKED. It felt like we were in a zoo at the interior of the building. It is worth the trip, but maybe the Palace of Versailles should consider more crowd control to cut the number of folks at any given time so that everyone can sit, stay an appreciate each space. Instead, it somewhat felt like we were being herded to the next room. Not by our tour guide at all, she was polite, but stood her ground and space, but just due to the number of people and tours also present at the same time. However, while the interior was tight and a bit busy, the exterior REAR grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and amazing. Be sure to buy the garden tickets! It is worth it.

The visit to Normandy and the D-Day invasion sites was sobering and inspirational.
Even extreme wind, rain, and cold temperatures could not dull the emotional impact of the geography and of what happened there so many decades ago.

Our ride was comfortable. Our guide was knowledgable and gregarious. We felt
that our needs, both practical and those reflected in our desire to learn, were met.
We would recommend this experience, and this company, without reservation.

Breathtaking greenery, most beautiful flowers you will ever see and wonderful scenic views with calm atmosphere. The beautiful garden with lake and bridges surrounded by flowers and greenery is an amazing sight to behold. The house is nice but Garden is outstanding. Even the pathway to approach from the bus stand or parking is amazing. Hidden Gem in France. Must visit if you have an additional day in France.

What an amazing day trip!!! We saw 2 gorgeous castles, ate lunch at Blois, and a delicious wine tasting from the cellars at Chenonceau. Our tour guide Goran was exceptional, and provided history throughout the day. We saw a lot and it was perfectly paced with the right amount of time at each place. Highly recommend!!!

Big Thank you to Denise and Zita from Ohakune I-SITE for helping us book an amazing evening at the Rotarua Te Pa Tu Māori Village! We thoroughly enjoyed the Hangi Dinner and learning about Māori Culture and History. Denise you were spot on with this recommendation and it was an evening we will never forget. Your Freedom Camping suggestion worked out really well also for us - beautiful park and surroundings.

This tour was the highlight of my trip to Paris! Min was an amazing tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the chateau. I traveled alone, but it felt like I was traveling with a group of friends. The bike ride through the town was amazing and the views were breathtaking. I would 10/10 recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Paris!

Fantastic time with our guide. He kept the energy up and was a good driver. The champagne was good as well at each of the wineries.

Our pickup was on time and the driver was knowledgeable and pointed out relevant landmarks on the way to Giverny. Our biggest concern was the condition of the van. The door could not be opened from the inside by the passengers. The driver used a rigged wire to open the door from the outside. The air conditioning did not work and the driver was reluctant to allow us to open windows. There was a small crack in the front windshield.

My guide Jill was wonderful. She set the pace and route of our tour exactly as I had hoped. Having a private tour allowed me to engage more and ask lots of questions. Jill answered them all with knowledge and generosity.

A lovely experience! There was a fair amount of people there, but it didn’t feel crowned. The bus could have been more comfortable. Very good guide (Sofia)!

Laurence was a good guide, taking us from room to room in this pretty big museum & talking about the different painters & paintings. We were lucky enough that it wasn't too busy during early January.
