- Scott C5 contributionsAwesome experience. An exciting way to have a unique experience of Paris. My wife and I went out in the red Ferrari - a beautiful car. Nabil our guide was terrific. He was a lot of fun, while safely guiding us through the streets of Paris. He helped us get our favorite music thru the Apple CarPlay to add to the fun. Nabil also took some great photos for us. Definitely worth doing this on a nice sunny day to get the most out of the trip. Recommend adding the tunnel leg to extend the trip and hear the roar of the engine! Pierre was available to take our special requested of champagne with no alcohol and other things. Limo was very clean and luxurious. he even put some Macaroons for the kids! He was very kind and truly professional! His services are the best! - Luis B2 contributionsI travel annually for work to Paris and some 20 years ago I discovered the magic of moving around the city in a scooter. You can experience the city in full, without going underground into the Metro. Much more enjoyable and time saving.
For the last several years, I’ve been renting my scooter from Darcos. Not only the motorcycles are great, but so is the quality of the -mandatory- helmets and gloves that they provide with the rental. I’ve also got to know Danielle, the owner of the store, who is always there (live, by text or via email) to solve any issues, from an early or late scooter drop-off, to assisting with the parking apps in my mobile phone. Needless to say, Darcos’ location is unbeatable, easy to get to from any location. I have rented an MT07 for 4 days, it was a very nice experience. Very well maintained, clean and bikes, which is very important though.

They were readily available using the app to locate and reasonably priced ( less than an Uber) to get you from A to B and SO MUCH FUN. You pay via the app get s QR code to unlock your scooter and off you go. When you are done simply step off, take a photo and carry on. We enjoyed riding around Paris late at night, it was much better than walking.
I you don't have a tour guy, this is a more desirable way to see Paris. It’s by far the best way to get around the city, backed up by the fact that so many locals use scooters. Navigating the city was easy and always parking available. Scooter was in great condition and had no issues whatsoever.

- Chad M1 contributionDuring a business trip to France I wanted to visit Normandy and decided the ride on a motorcycle would be more enjoyable than a car. We booked online and it was super easy. Raphael was ready with bike parked out front, cleaned, and gassed up for my ride.
The bike was in great condition, a few minor things that Raphael pointed out, but it made the checkout quick and easy. Everything ran great! My R1250RT came with on screen navigation via BMW Connected app and he helped me get it all setup. The bikes are so comfortable and easy to ride… they are more like a motorbike than typical bicycle. I appreciated this as a larger person! There was plenty of space for my daughter to ride behind my husband. As for the tour, it’s a GREAT way to start your time in a new city and we got to see all the “big” sights with lots of shared history along the way. Price for renting boat is reasonable, the renting staff didn't speak English but we managed rent a boat anyway. Highly recommended if you want fresh air and nature. - GrandTour639511798681 contributionLong post alert – Please read in detail to get the exact context and understand why we feel this way about LPO. We were to visit all countries by air (tickets were issued), stay in plush 3-4 star hotels and help with chasing Northern Lights and help for booking for other activities. After all, you are going to those countries at this time of the year and perhaps once in your lifetime just to see this once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon! Called them, they were so polite and nice. All till they got our money, once we paid in full OUR NIGHTMARE STARTED! Initially, they told us we will enter Denmark and then changed to other countries and finally to Finland. We were wondering why, then they told us it is due to some local issues. They created a group with 20-25 of their own employees along with us. When we call, no one will pick up. In return, they will call wait for one ring to pass and then disconnect. After which, they will post in the group that Passenger is not available/not answering!
They didn’t even know the basics of international air travel, instead of getting a through check-in ticket to the final destination they gave us individual tickets (Chennai to Delhi/Mumbai (domestic flight) where we should have hauled our luggage from domestic to international terminal ourselves etc. ). Finally, after much pushing/cajoling and long frustrating conversations they gave us a through ticket
First they said, they will help us with additional activities at our cost and will help with Igloo Stay booking etc. Then they completely missed the Igloo Stay (one of the reasons for the visit). Moreover, we realized there were quoting thrice the original price for the activity.
Same thing with the Northern Lights chases by boat, one of the key reasons for the visit was missed!
Last nail in the coffin was when 2 days back they came back and told us that the ENTIRE TRIP WILL BE BY BUS! All the FLIGHT TICKETS THAT WERE ISSUED WERE ALL FAKE SO WERE THE HOTEL VOUCHERS!
Imagine, traveling close to 3500km by bus after initially promising everything by flight. Told us cock and bull stories that flights were cancelled etc. etc. We checked on Flightradar24, none of the flights were cancelled at all.
WE WOULDN’T HAVE GONE WITH LPO IF THEY TOLD US RIGHT AT THE START IT WAS ALL BY BUS. NO ONE RESPONSIBLE WILL TAKE CALLS, NO ONE WILL RESPOND TO EMAILS AND MANY A TIME THEY WILL TALK TO YOU IN A LANGUAGE YOU CANNOT EVEN UNDERSTAND.
3.5 lakhs + 2 lakhs of OUR HARD EARNED MONEY (BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS) HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAIN THANKS TO THESE LIARS. DEAL WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK OF RUINING YOUR DREAM VACATION, LOSING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR TRIPS ETC. ETC.
