    It was the first and we have gotten a lot of fun! Thanks to our instructor Ponch, who was very patient and good in teaching with everybody around. Recommend!

    This is a very pretty swimmingpool in Paris because in the months that it s hot you need refreshment because you can t swim in the seine.
    * no noise
    * relaxing
    * good for swimming in lanes enough space
    * no need to bring a towel
    * very expensive if you know someone (a member) € 80 per person if you don t know anyone it s €250 I find that too expensive
    * great for tanning
    * no tourists really
    * not a party pool just for relaxing

    It's a swimming pool in the Seine. It's OK with quite a municipal feel. As I went on Saturday morning, I had to book in advance on the website. You get an online reservation, then pay at the desk. It was 6.50 euros. The pool itself is small - there were swimming lessons in one lane, and families with small children in another lane, so there were only 2 lanes for swimming.
    As with all municipal pools, you need to wear a proper swimming costume or trunks, and swimming caps are compulsory.
    The hygiene in the changing rooms is average - there is a footbath to walk through before you get into the changing rooms.

    My daughter and I spent five days in Paris during a hot and muggy spell of weather. We ventured over to the Keller Pool late afternoon on one particularly hot day. It was fantastic! Busy, but clean and cool and the perfect antidote to the hot weather. Everyone must wear a bathing cap, which can be purchased from a vending machine at the entrance. It's a 50 metre pool, and most of the lanes are reserved for lengths, but the pool accommodated everyone of all swim levels. Best of all, it was open-air. We would definitely return.

    This studio is incredible! As an avid spin class student in the United States, it was hard to find the right place here in Paris since the trend is not nearly as widespread as it is in the US. The studios here are fabulous, equipped with top notch showers and locker facilities, great staff, and high-quality bikes inside the studio itself. The instructors are fun, dynamic, and really push you with ab-busting choreography and insanely fun cardio workouts. Could not recommend more highly, especially to other Americans who are used to popular spin studios in the US looking for something of the same quality in France!

    This pool is well maintained and has a dome cover that was open when we went. The lockers in the women's dressing room lock with a code you choose at no cost. The only drawback is that you cannot take pictures. We encountered this at the pool we visited in Berlin, also. Apparently picture privacy is a big issue.

    I'm an avid lap-swimmer so I was excited to discover Picine Pontoise (piscine = pool in French) when I was staying in the Latin Quarter. The pool is an indoor, 33 meter and clean pool. Mostly locals were swimming there. Very few tourists. I went around 4:30 PM when it opened up for evening swim.

    Interesting changing rooms - they are simple but private rooms on the upper level. You will leave your clothes there but you won't get a key. They have attendants to lock/unlock the room. You must remember the number of your room so that the attendants can unlock the door for you when you get out of the pool. It's easier if you speak a little French but they will help you figure out how it all works in limited English. No photos are allowed but if you get a nice attendant who looks the other way (deliberately) you can sneak a shot of the beautiful architecture.

    You'll shower (wearing your bathing suit) in a common shower area before entering the pool. You can keep your towel with you and put it on a chair on the side of the pool

    Once you get into the pool you can choose fast or slow lanes. Expect to circle swim. I was a bit overwhelmed by the 10 (I kid you not) other swimmers in my lane. I realize how lucky I've been all my life in the US to have either my own lane or only 1-2 others for circle swim. Imagine 10 other swimmers in your lane! It's a great work out if you like to sprint! Meaning, the person in front of you may be too slow, so you have to speed up and pass him/her before the on-coming swimmer cuts you off!

    Beware the strict lifeguards. She will blow her whistle and admonish you if you breaststroke in the "fast" swim lane. Even if you are just slowing down because the person in front of you is swimming too slow! No breaststroke allowed in the fast lane! Fascinating!

    I wanted to swim for an hour but I got too stressed out and left after 30 minutes. I was disappointed but the cultural experience and historic architecture made my visit totally worth it!

    With flying home in the afternoon, we opted to stop by here to let the kids burn off the last of their energy. The gentleman at the desk was brilliant, offering us a variety of food (we hadn’t had breakfast at this point!) so we opted for waffles. They were lovely, and the kids had a brilliant time. Would definitely revisit if in the area.

    No one talked english here and me and my family were told by a guard to leave the pool immediately because we did not know that we were supposed to wear a swimming hood in the pool :(

    Great way to give teens a fun break in Paris. The Office du Tourisme gave me this idea for a morning with my four grandchildren when our plans to ice skate fell through. They LOVED it.
