The Heinz Berggruen collection includes an amazing number of Picasso works spanning his whole career.
Matisse and Klee are also well represented.
This high quality show deserved a lot more space than the cramped temporary exhibition hall in the Orangerie museum provided.
    Be prepared for crowds.

This is a wonderful museum in an elegant mansion. The rooms are interesting and both the ground and upper floors have some nice paintings. The real surprise, though, was a lower level with a large collection of great Monet paintings - a gift from Monet's last surviving son.

The staff were helpful - we arrived on the wrong date with our paid tickets, and they let us in anyway. The museum had great benches for viewing the Monets. Best of all, the museum was not over-stuffed with tourists. There was room, and time, to linger and really look at the great paintings.

My husband, teenage son and I are always looking for off the beaten path activities when we visit a city. This place was exactly what we were looking for. Our fabulous guide Liber showed and explained the games and rides throughout the viewing area. Both children and adults had a lot of fun. At the end we got to ride and pedal on the bicycle merry-go- round that is over a hundred years old. We had a wonderful time indeed!

A beautiful mansion, now a museum with quite a history background. It is next to the lovely Parc Monceau and well worth your visit. The day I was there there were only 3 other people- such a nice experience after so many lovely but crowded museums

We spent a long time in this interesting museum. There are various exhibition areas all well explained in English that helped make (some) sense of the revolution, the terror, and the communards, Parisian/French history is very complex but this museum helps put it all in context. As well as pre history through to the world wars, It also covers things like historic shop and business signage.
And its free, so popping out to eat at one of the restaurants on the rue de Rivoli nearby is easy.

Some of the parfum smells so much like the branded parfum. Over here it is a fraction of the price of the branded ones.

The musee parfum entry is free and you can scan the QR code for self guided tour.

We spent a good 3 - 4 hours in this museum today & loved it.

There is a wonderful array of exhibits which covered the history of all sorts of inventions & industrial devices- coming from the 15th century to today.

The highlights for us were the 2nd floor with the Scientific Instruments & Materials galleries - and the ground floor / church which housed transport exhibits all the way from a Model T to a F1 race car.

The museum is in a lovely old building & the church has spectacular stained glass windows.

It is a quiet museum- we went on a Wednesday morning & there wouldn’t have been more than 10 - 15 visitors, and we seemed to be the only foreign visitors.

I highly recommend this museum & thoroughly enjoyed our visit

I don’t often write reviews about museums but this one has to be an exception to that rule. Apart from a little trek to find the museum (by Eiffel Tower) and poor directions around the museum itself, this was an amazing museum. Set out in different world zones, each extremely interesting, you need to allow yourself plenty of time. I visited the Zombies temporary exhibition too but wasn’t very impressed with that. The rest of the museum is well worth a visit!

Planned to visit this museum when we did our self-guided tour of Montmarte. We were pleasantly surprised to see how comprehensive the collection was. It was wonderful to walk in the studios used by such great artists. Loved reading about the history of the area and seeing old photographs. Views were beautiful. The ticket price was pretty high for such a small museum.

Spectacular art immersion show of Vincent Van Gogh. Very accessible venue with excellent dinning all around; try The Grand Balls. Mmm.

Unfortunately, this wonderfully set out museum with many seemingly interesting exhibitions and information was sort of ruined through the fact I couldn’t understand any of it. Spent the afternoon just looking at the preserved creates etc. it’s a shame as many of the screens look as if they can easily be changed and therefore a small english sub section could be added. I understand I’m in a different country and of course french should come first, but I also know it’s sort of expected of large tourist institutions to cater to the English language since it’s so widely spoken and understood. Also bear in mind my friend, a fluent French speaker and full time resident fully expected their to be English available too! Also a note to bring your own food/snacks, this is the most expensive food I’ve seen in Paris yet!

There are lots of nice displays here, particularly the Hall of Mirrors show. A must-do activity once in Paris.

A great way to see a ton of Dali's sculptures in depth. They have more than just his sculptures of course, but they seem to be the central theme. While they did not offer an audio tour, all the pieces have descriptions by them for you to read. Certainly a must do for Dali lovers, however, I am not sure its a must do for anyone else.

You'll probably spent about 30-45 minutes with ease. Connected to the museum is a small gallery where you can purchase his work or work by other artists inspired by Dali. We went during a weekday and had no problem walking up and purchasing tickets, however, I believe they sell them in advance on-line and that might be worth doing to avoid issues.
