Pleasant apartment blocks and individual houses. A small shopping and eating area. A fountain, some landscaping, a large Metro station underground, lots of big cafes arround. One of Paris's few skyscraper neighborhoods is adjacent. We enjoyed our plates of cheese (partner) and charcuterie (me) and a carafe of red wine - just what we needed after a long journey. Good value, as evidenced by the students crowded round every table. Great optimistic atmosphere - it was just a teensy bit overwhelming and loud for us oldsters, but we still enjoyed it. “ I VISITED THIS PLACE”…
… twice, once at night after finishing the Musée d’Orsay and once during the day after being at the Louvre.
There was a lot of traffic and taxis in the traffic and a lot of people too, and everyone crossing it all at different points.
WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
