Paris, Brussels, Zurich and Geneva, there are a lot of chocolate shops. Sample more then one as you go about your day, but do head to Foucher. The staff across the street from the Bon Marche on the left bank, were wonderful. If you are visiting during the cooler months, the Hot Chocolate is rich and smooth and the assortment of chocolates is delicious. You won't be disappointed.
Definitely a place to visit for all chocolate lovers.
A big store, well organized, offers a huge range of Lindt products which you can’t find elsewhere.
There is a cafe where you can enjoy drinks, desserts and ice-cream.
You can sample taste the chocolate before purchasing & the staff are very helpful and friendly. The chocolates I tasted were all very nice that I bought all of them. 😅
My husband and I had just finished shopping at another honey store nearby. We did not know that this cute shop was selling honey until we passed the in front of the store. We were both attracted by a sweet nice flower-like aroma. We walked in and found out that they sell honey of all kinds. The young lady in the shop was friendly and polite. We tasted 7 or 8 different types of honey. We bought a few mini jars. The store is very small. You will have to look for it. This is a must-place to stop by if you are honey lover.
My favorite records store in town. The owner is adorable and always so welcoming. He has the most incredible collection of Madonna and Michael Jackson collectibles ever, each fan will be able to find something he/she doesn’t own. Plus he also has a massive selection of all genres of music as well. Truly a must-visit place if you are into music.
There are souvenirs shops almost everywhere in Paris. But the majority sells imported products. There you can find genuine French souvenirs as an affordable price. Moreover the place is located in one of the most beautiful Passage of Paris
Step in this shop - nicely located, by the way - and be transformed into the photographic pleasuredom: unexpected shots of all your movie heroes (and heroines!), friendly staff...and even very reasonable prices.
Not sure if the whole story, but these French made chocolates are artisanal like Godiva, but hopefully better... first bite is very promising. More to come, @ $45/lb.
Free some time and go visit this place. For a whole hour, Marry shared her amazing vast knowledge with me. She was patient, and it was obvious she was very passionate about what she does.
Don't let the small size of the shop fool you - I've been to many many wine shops around the world and this one is very rare.
It's more than worth a visit, it's a must if you're a wine enthusiast.
Note that not all the staff speaks English very well, so if you happen to come when there isn't an English speaker, I'd advise to come back because good wine selection you can find anywhere. It's the knowledge that you want from PhiloVino.
Well, sadly my French is very limited. But on the second floor they have an interesting selection of books in English. The staff speaks fluent English and can help you.
My mom and I found this via a pinterest recommendation. Very cute covered passage. Vintage shops, artist jewelry boutiques and more. Worth the trip if you are in the area.
