We had a fun afternoon with our knowledgeable, warm and enthusiastic guide, Galaad, touring Saint-Emilion and two nearby wineries. Galaad took the extra time to show up the limestone caves of a producer I. Saint-Emilion as well as some of the food specialties Saint-Emilion is known for. We never felt rushed and the wine tasting was augmented with cheese, chocolate and charcuterie that Galaad provided. Just a perfect day!

This was really excellent. A small group, and our guide was lovely. We started by going to two chateaux wineries and had tastings and tours of their facilities. Then went to St Emillion for lunch and to explore/free time, then a last winery. It felt very well paced and not like we were rushing anywhere. Really enjoyed it!

The full day tour was excellent. We were able to experience so many different wines during the tour and were able to get an in depth look at the wine making process and the variation of appellations that are available in Bordeaux. It was certainly worth the price. When we went the harvesting had taken place just a few weeks before which meant that we were able to see many of the wines that had just undergone fermentation and were recently put into casks but that meant that there were not many grapes on the vines. If you want to see full vines you may wish to look up the growing season to see when it would be best to attend but it was all very interesting and a great learning experience as well.

From the vine-covered rolling hills to the meticulous vineyard rows, our half-day trip to Saint-Émilion from Bordeaux was nothing short of spectacular. A key highlight of this tour was our guide, Mario, whose expertise as a sommelier deeply enriched our experience. As an Italian native, Mario not only brought a passionate flair to his guidance but also shared intricate details about the winemaking process that were both enlightening and engaging.

The tour began with a scenic drive from Bordeaux to Saint-Émilion, during which Mario entertained us with fascinating stories and facts about the region's history and viticulture. Upon arrival, we visited a charming, family-run winery where we were walked through the vineyards and cellars. Mario's knowledge was invaluable, as he explained the unique qualities of the terroir and how they translate into the flavor and structure of the wine.

The wine tasting session itself was a delightful experience. With Mario's sommelier insights, we learned to identify subtle notes and aromas in the wines, which enhanced our appreciation significantly. The selection included superb examples of what makes Saint-Émilion such a revered wine-producing area.

Overall, this tour is a must-do for anyone visiting Bordeaux. The combination of stunning landscapes, insightful commentary, and exquisite wines makes for an unforgettable experience. Mario’s professional yet personable approach as a guide will undoubtedly enhance your visit, making this tour highly recommendable for both wine aficionados and novices alike.

Enjoyed our tour with Maud. She added a lot of special additions to our tour: a chocolate tasting, salami and cheese tasting, an amazing chocolate croissant. Definitely felt we were getting a local’s tour of the region. She also was very knowledgeable.

Sonia was awesome! She chose a really yummy charcuterie spread to go with our wines. The history she spoke about St. Emilion and wines were informative. I enjoyed this tour!

Clement our guide was knowledgeable and personable. Answered all our questions and more. The region and views stunning. Met by both Chataeu owners who were generous with their time and their knowledge. And a bonus the wines were very good!

Very good and informed guide. Some times her flow from French into English meant that I would miss some of the points as I was only waiting for the English comment. She gave us a good understanding of the city and revealed many facts that were new to me.
