What travellers are saying
- PvzmDublin, Ireland12 contributionsCertainly a unique experience being able to sit and relax with your partner on a corner with such an elegant and professional surroundings.
Drinks and food were according to expectations and service staff very friendly.
Just a pity the cinema only provided mono sound and quite muffled. At times, it was a bit hard to understand, specially when sitting at the very back.Written 12 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The cafe is lovely too.Written 3 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jennifer KDundalk, Ireland141 contributionsI've been here a few times. It's been alright. The first time was fine, the second time I had to sit at an angle to see the screen and the 3rd time was for endgame. There was no ads at the start they just jumped straight into the move. Not everyone was seated so you were trying to watch the movie as the stagg went around with the phone torch on sitting people for the first 15 mins. I know the move was 3 hours and they wanted to show as many of the movie as they could. But I would of preferred It started when they had people sitting instead of playing it when there was about 5 people sitting down. It was really annoying.Written 6 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sharon7 contributionsThis cinema used to be one of my favs. Comfy cinema seating, it would be 5 stars except for it seems to be a new thing to copy the multiplexes and turn the lights on full at the start of the end credits. There were things happening in the credits of Corsage that the full lights took away from, it is also I feel not showing due respect to the artists involved or to patrons who use the end credits as part of the movie to digest what has gone before. Please IFI return to dimmed lighting during the credits.Written 3 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SillyRabbitWalsall, UK101 contributionsWe had several hours to go before our airport transfer wad to pick us up to fly back home and so we decided to spend the hours watching a film at Cineworld, Dublin.
The actual cinema and the staff etc were amazing and it was a straight forward cinema experience.
Unfortunately, the seats were or appeared very dated, worn leather and the seat in front of me had a black plastic bag over it which seemed very strange and unsettling.
It wasn't great considering it was a Cineworld in Dublin cityWritten 31 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. For people living remotely and not having access to other trad music communities, this is a life saver. Tunes are great, pace is slow and steady, just perfect for improvers. Internet connection sometimes lacks quality but I think that depends on the weather and it's not their fault. Thank you so much for offering this experience!Written 3 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- motorcar1Dublin, Ireland15,107 contributionsBrought one of our daughters three children to see Toy Story 4 this morning at 10.30am. Parking was no problem at that time and I bought the tickets at the food tills do no messing with touch screen.
Good value at €6.00 each. Food and drink pricey, with better planning we could have saved.
The children enjoy the film so it was good outing.Written 10 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A group of us have visited the cinema in the last few weeks and each time is the same. The heating seems to be on full or it's a warm evening and there's no air con. Either way it's extremely uncomfortable. We did mention it to a staff member when leaving who simply shrugged her shoulders.Written 7 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jennifer C16 contributionsVisited this cinema due to its showing times. Had already visited Cineworld this week. Located in an empty shopping centre. Lots of construction surrounding the centre so feel businesses will come into the centre once construction in the area is nearly completed.
However cinema is comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. However cineworld is better value and offers the same experience. Did receive 40% off next odeon tickets for this cinema but leaving the country today so no good for us. Would rather pay less in the first place!Written 1 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Just a word of warning they dont sell alcohol but there is a small off licence across the road that sell some nice craft beers and ciders plus the smell of food cooking was unbelievable will definitely have to drop by for lunch or tapas somedayWritten 20 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Went to see Small Things Like These which is a serious film requiring concentration on a Saturday night at 7pm viewing. A baby cried and made noise for quite a bit of the time. Everyone very frustrated and it was fairly full, but no-one wanted to be that person to ask the baby to leave. There should be baby policies.Written 9 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Angela C65 contributionsHad a wonderful 9th birthday party for my daughter here. She chose a Harry Potter movie and theme. We had the cinema to ourselves - were able to invite all her class - brought in our own jellies popcorn Oreo’s and drinks for the movie and then they had seperated off a perfect party area where we were able to order domino’s pizza afterwards and decorate with Harry Potter theme. you need a few extra adults to ferry the children to and from the bathroom. Definitely recommended though. They all loved the party!Written 22 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TheAistearLifeDublin, Ireland114 contributionsWe completed two games of bowling and the software and mechanics were very rundown. Scores werent updated in the machine when pins were knocked down, or else it would give 3 goes per round but still not register scores. Barrier sounded like it was about to fall off everytime it went up or down. Numbers were missing on a huge majority of bowling balls. Provided shoes were in poor condition.
I would not be recommending or returning to play bowling here. Plenty more decent places around Dublin available.Written 19 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
