My wife and I were only in Dublin for a few days and did not initially plan on visiting the museum. We are very glad, however, that we did end up going to the museum. It is a magnificent art gallery and well worth your time if you are a fan of fine art.

It’s a lovely building, nice and naturally bright and has a decent selection of shops. You’re meant to pay to get into the toilets but the gates were open so we didn’t bother and thank goodness we didn’t pay. They were grim and the bins were overflowing with an empty bottle of vodka sticking out of one. This was on a Monday afternoon.

Upmarket and relatively small boutique style shopping area in the centre of Dublin. It’s just off Grafton Street and a nice place to browse.

We have just had a beautiful afternoon in Brown Thomas today. Sarah and the beauty team were welcoming and professional, thoroughly resolving a previous problem encountered. I highly recommend Brown Thomas.

Right at the heart of Dublin shopping district not too far from the famous Grafton Street. Not a lot of shops inside but it's worth a look as it's something different.

Good food and wine selection. Super friendly staff. Zach was full of good advice on food and wine! We grabbed a Spanish red, Matsu "El Picaro", and some cheese and olives for an easy dinner in.

The volunteers and staff working at the gallery were very helpful and knowledgeable. And the exhibitions change regularly. Definitely worth going if you’re in Dublin City!

Wonderful, light-flooded art gallery that welcomes you not only with the beautiful scent of oil paint but also the most delightful couple, Gerard and Agata. We had the pleasure of meeting them and listening to their exciting stories whilst marveling at Gerard's exquisite impressionistic paintings. We really appreciate them both taking the time to guide us through the paintings and sharing their interesting anecdotes. Do not miss this lovely art gallery when in Dublin!

Very low key. About five vendors with some nice bread and cheese. Not worth going out of your way.

It's a bridge. Not much to make of it really but it is pretty and easy to cross as it is not steep. It's free these days so why not?! Gives easy access to the north side of the city.

We visited The Icon Walk with our tour guide Patrick during his 4-hour called “Dublins best kept secrets”. It is a community of artists who have transformed back roads into a living art project. Lots of dedicated artists make the Icon Factory to a fun place to visit, buy pieces of art or some unique souvenirs to support this project. Take some time to have a chat with e.g. Anthony about art, Dublin and the world. You will not regret it.
The Icon Factory is under threat because the landlord wants to use the space for a restaurant and the artists have not yet found a new space. I really do not understand why the city does not support and promote such a great place!

We went to see a Royal Irish Academy of Music opera. The opera was excellent. The space it was in was modern space with bench seating on either seating on either side. The lobby was complete with bar for before and after the show. The center was also hosting an art exhibition and lectures about disabled artists.
