Goat Fell
#1 of 10 Nature & Parks in Isle of Arran
For nature-lovers an absolute must-do.
My wife and I (and dog) began our walk - with strong walking boots - from Cladach car park near Brodick Castle.
Glenashdale Falls Whiting Bay
#2 of 10 Nature & Parks in Isle of Arran
After a steep but fun climb, we discovered this hidden in the forrest gem! Beautiful nature and barely any humans on the trails.
A good walk, from a car park up to the falls, then two possible return walks making it an excellent circular walk.
King's Caves Blackwaterfoot
#3 of 10 Nature & Parks in Isle of Arran
... special - OK the little arch is nice, too but what really sets it apart is the marvelous hike through the forrest, down the cliffs and then back through almost Rocky Mountainesque backcountry to the car park.
If you do park by the farm, it will lead you to a lovely waterfall though!
Brodick Castle, Garden and Country Park Brodick
#4 of 10 Nature & Parks in Isle of Arran
Had a lovely walk to the castle via the duck bridge (quick stop to feed them) then up through the grounds The play park is amazing our son really enjoyed it.
The gardens & country park (included in very reasonable admission charge) are wonderful, dogs are allowed on leads, apart from the walled garden & inside the castle of course.

The Holy Isle Lamlash
#6 of 10 Nature & Parks in Isle of Arran
We took the ferry from Lamlash - this is easily found by parking in the public car park across from the Pierhead Tavern then heading down the path on the seaward side.
The Playbarn Brodick
#7 of 10 Nature & Parks in Isle of Arran
Our 2 yo son had a great time roaming around all the slides and ball parks.

It's just so peaceful, you can feel the stress and pressures of modern life just falling away as you relax into the rhythms of the nature all around.
A quiet walk along the beach unfolds nature at its best.
