We drove over to the West End during our 3 day stay. It can also be reached on the tube. We found the historic little streets although there were only a couple. We then went and sat in a lovely park away from it all with view over looking the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum and the University.

Festival village. Nice place but I used my business card to pay for a round of drinks and I just can’t explain this to taxman. So company has folded and the mulled wine was too hot

A great way to see Glasgow is by walking the trail. It takes you to various parts of the city where you can admire the art work. Some of this is stunning and found in varied spots.
