We had the most delightful trip with our tour guide, David. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining but he kept the whole group ahead of schedule so that we beat the crowd at every stop. He provided a great deal of history all while safely navigating us through the highlands. I would highly recommend this tour. Although it was a long day, it was very fast-paced, comfortable and memorable.

We were extremely happy with the whole tour. Even though it was about 12hrs long, it didn’t feel exhausting as we always stopped somewhere after maximum 1.5hrs drive. The selected spots on the way to Loch Ness were magnificent and had amazing views!! All the timings were very nicely calculated and had sufficient time for everything. We were very grateful with Jamie for his exceptional service and attention throughout the journey. His stories were entertaining, informative and funny. We wouldn’t doubt at all to recommend this tour to anyone! :)

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Paul Santa was a great host and tour guide for our family’s 3 day Skye/Highland’s tour. His stories and knowledge of history kept us engaged and interested, including our 2 teens. The tour had something for everyone - history, castles, ruins, landscape and culture. My kids enjoyed visiting the Highland cows, looking for sea life, hearing the bagpipes and visiting the castles the best. Great way to cover a lot of ground quickly too. We rented a car to travel around Glasgow and Edinburgh, but was glad to have Paul S drive us around the narrow, steep roads of the Highlands with frequent passing turnoffs for one lane roads. The Timberbush van was brand new, clean and modern with charging ports and seat belts. The seats reclined and there were curtains if you wanted to nap. They had the same tour in another van so they didn’t cram us all into one van. We also chose to let them book our accommodations, which they did a great job.

I had never done a group tour like this before, but based on a recommendation from a friend, my wife and I decided to give Rabbies a shot. We only had 7 days in Scotland and didn't want to bother with driving and planning a trip ourselves, so the 3 day Isle of Skye experience felt like a perfect way to break up our time in Edinburgh. The first day was stunning. We drove up to the Highlands stopping at a number of spots that offered plenty of majestic highland views. Along the way there were well scheduled breaks to use the facilities and grab coffee, snacks and water. The second day was brilliant, stopping at a number of wonderful spots for a solid amount of time. The Fairy Glen, Quiraing, Isle of Skye Brewing and Talisker Distillery were highlights. The return journey back to Edinburgh saw us pop into Eilean Donan Castle and Fort Augustus before making our way back to Edinburgh via Pitlochry . The bus itself was comfortable, with very large windows offering fantastic views, regardless of which side you sat on. The trip would not have been what it was without our incredible Rabbie's guide, Barbara. Her stories, attentiveness to detail and communication really made this trip one to remember.

Our private tour of the Scottish highlands was an absolute highlight of our UK trip. We are so happy that we opted for the private tour, as we were able to spend as much or as little time as we wanted at each location and it was really customized to what we wanted to see. The tour itself was an incredible way to see more of Scotland during our stay in Edinburgh. We saw lochs, castles, lots of beautiful scenery and of course, highland cows! The car was spacious and comfortable. Our guide Simon was amazing. He was personable and fun and taught us so much about Scotland. He stopped at extra places including a beautiful church and an additional stop to see more highland cows. He had fun traditional British snacks, which the kids especially loved. I highly recommend this tour, and consider yourself lucky if you get Simon as your tour guide!

Not everything went to plan however our tour guide Charlie did a wonderful job of making sure we all had a fun time. She had a backup plan and kept us all entertained. She was funny and had a great playlist and stories throughout. She is clearly very knowledgeable and good under pressure. Thank you Charlie for making sure we had a good time even though we didn’t get to go do the tour as planned!

Sean was an excellent tour guide. He was engaging and thoughtful. He had great information and interesting stories at every site we stopped at. He was interested in what we had to say and answered all our questions. We would highly recommend Sean and the Walking Edinburgh tour as a great introduction to your time in the city.

I will remember this tour for the rest of my life! I enjoyed visiting Stirling Castle and learning about the the Stewart family. The bucolic views from the bus were astounding. My favorite part of the day was listening to Alastair, the bus driver and tour guide, tell captivating stories about Scotland's historic figures including William Wallace, Queen Mary, and Robert the Bruce. He was an excellent trip leader, and he made for an unforgettable experience. Thanks, Alastair!

We did the Highlands day trip from Edinburgh and Nathan was an amazing guide. I had a list of things we wanted to see including highland coos and the Harry Potter train crossing the Glenfinnan viaduct and he managed to get our entire wish list in! Along the way, Nathan told us the history and tales of Scotland and pointed out various areas of interest. It was a full day, but one of the best of our trip. I would highly recommend!

Thankyou so much, we took our Mum who has reduced mobility and the Captain and crew were so helpful in getting Mum on board and off again. The cruise was just lovely and the afternoon tea was plenty for the 3 of us. It was such a scenic trip and the weather behaved.

Rishi’s Pentland Hills hike was a great day and fun excursion to a place, sadly, not even many locals see. There were some spectacular views and a great vantage point to see all of Edinburgh. Getting some exercise was also an added bonus! I would highly recommend!
