St Columb’s Cathedral is in Derry, Northern Ireland. It is a very majestic cathedral that has served a city torn apart by politics. The cathedral is very close to the walled fortification of Derry and you will pass it if you are walking around the wall.
    Well worth a visit.

What an awesome, lovely quaint Anglican church! The site of the St Colmcille Abbey, approx. 546AD (Colmcille became Columba). It is an understated warm welcoming church. This belies the truly troubled past it has endured.

Beautiful cathedral in Bogside on raised ground. Very welcoming. Well kept gardens. Pity we weren't there on a Sunday x

Spotted this church on our walk around the city walls. Beautiful from the outside. Plaque outside giving a bit of details of the church. We weren't inside so cannot comment on that.

Marvellous to think these stones are over 4500 years old, move over Stonehenge.
A visitor centre or a coffee shop would be a great addition

The Star of the Sea Church is truely the star of all churches I've been to! The priest are friendly and the people there are friendly too!

The church and it's grounds are very clean and the Faughanvale community should take as much advantage of this wonderful place as they possibly can!

If you are looking for a lovely church which give a lovely mass then Star of the Sea is certainly the place to be!

Beautiful church but impossible to get in when we were there. Walled off and closed to public, perhaps because of recent troubles. Wonderful to see from the outside though.
