Interesting museum, knowledgeable guides and beautiful rooms, library etc. climbing the “keep” gives you a beautiful view, but not recommended if you have any mobility issues.

Yes not much here, but there is a great view. Could be great as a base, in warmer times. Can take the Boat to Cardiff centre. For unique Welsh gifts, you must visit Craft in the Bay. Made the trip worthwhile, picked up some local silver jewellery and porcelain.

For any rugby fan Welsh or not this is a fantastic behind the scenes tour . Ken our guide was extremely professional, witty and knowledgeable. Some great stories and what a magnificent stadium. Would highly recommend.

Excellent museum and art gallery with wonderful displays. But avoid cafe at all costs. Truly terrible. Bought what was described as a cheese and coleslaw sandwich and all I could taste was the cheap margarine spread. Neither the cheese or coleslaw tasted of anything.

We forgot we were in a city while visiting this quiet, meditative park abutting Cardiff Castle. There are many trails for walking and cycling, as well as a couple places to refuel if need be. Our kids loved the little percussion installations lining a trail in the southwest quarter of the park, as well as a play area next to the Summerhouse Cafe. It was an amazing experience!

This a a beautiful little castle not far from Cardiff. With the audioguide, it is definitely worth the price. The audioguide is well done. The castle is very beauitful. If arriving by train then walking, google will direct you the long way round, but there is a trail through the woods that cuts the walk down by 10+ minutes.

Brilliant birthday party for my 8 year old son and 16 other children aged 3 to 8.
The show was fab and the kids had a great time - really nice change from ninja warrior or other soft play parties.

Lovely park, with a variety of birds, very clean with a nice little cafe.. Plenty to see and do for the kiddies with a play area for them.

I took my mum ( who grew up in the valleys ) on a weekend to catch up with family and trace our family history. We had a wonderful tour, led by Tony. Fascinating information about the mining , presented with expertise and humour. The displays in the museum brought back a lot of memories for her and she was singing along with Paul Robeson in the new interactive area. I suggest you give half a day for the experience and time to have coffee and view all of the displays . Would love to return , Thank you for the experience. I hope I can return .

I didn't even know this existed..and I wound up going there TWICE.
Llandaff is one of the most beautiful cathedrals I've laid eyes on. The grounds are remarkable, the interior is gorgeous..I just wish I had been able to go to a service there.
It's nestled in a lush, green area that just screams serenity and beauty.
    Totally worth the visit!!
