Superb walk for beginners and families. Really lovely marked routes up and down the mountain. Took 90 minutes at a really leisurely pace. Absolutely brilliant for dogs off the lead too.

Don’t listen to the poor drivers on here moaning about the trip to the car park. It’s absolutely fine. Yes it’s narrow and yes you may have to reverse, it’s a mountain! This forum alone explains why there’s so many poor drivers on the road; their car insurance will somehow be a lot cheaper than mine!!

Only negative would be there was no bin even at the base for dog waste. Free parking though, probably explains that negative.

Amazing ruins of moated castle in Monmouthshire. Great for photography, very atmospheric. You could almost feel the history in the walls.

We really enjoyed walking around the ruins with some interesting information about a couple of the towers.
However, thought the museum could be better in providing a history of the castle and area. Seemed only really geared up to kids.
So only needed an hour you don’t need any longer

Took us about 45 mins to reach the top, it’s not the longest walk but if you are short in time or have people with you that aren’t used to hill walking this would be a good one. Super views. Also would recommend to drive to keeper’s pond from there, about 15 mins and also a gorgeous spot!

It was fascinating to be in and around such an old church. Well looked after. Definitely worth a visit.

The ride from Glasbury to St Mary's was worth every ounce of perspirations and effort. Absolutely beautiful place. We went on a Friday and the chapel was being prepared for a wedding and was starting to look stunning. Spectacular scenery on route is a bonus. A must to visit.

Not the largest church but attractive and historical in its own right. Local information inside and around is helpful

Is it safe to leave a bicycle locked up there overnight?
It looks quiet and safe but is it safe overnight?

A beautiful, well maintained church with wonderful artifacts. In town, next to a car par so access to it is very good. I recommend.

This church is small and is hidden away up a steep, single track road, but it is well worth visiting if you are interested in old churches. It is a rare survival from before the ravages of the mid 17th century, retaining an ancient rood screen and several wall paintings.
