Soho House
#3 of 34 Museums in Birmingham
We were amazed to find what a chequered history the house had had and we are so glad that the house is available to visit now since it is run by the Birmingham Museums Trust.
Our visit started with a wonderfully warm welcome from Andrew and Rebecca, and their passion for this small but fascinating museum was infectious.
Selly Manor

Even with its historic style and winding staircase the house still feels like a genuine, welcoming museum with more rooms and floors than originally anticipated.
It's a small Museum but you can tell the people there really love and care for it - there is loads of interactivity from boxes of toys and medicines, to trying on Tudor outfits - and as its Easter we did a fun egg...

Birmingham University includes several museums, some little known, but this is the jewel in the crown.
Great museum to get a sense of the prevailing artistic context of the era in context and, sometime clues to the mindset and orientation of the individual artist.
National Motorcycle Museum
#6 of 34 Museums in Birmingham
It's an interesting coincidence that the two best motorcycle museums in the world are both located on the outskirts of a city named Birmingham.
‘Try a bike’ day is fantastic way to enjoy the museum own bikes, to be able to ride different bikes is a must, I rode 8 out of 11 bikes on the day, I enjoyed riding a Triumph so much, I have just purchased one to...

Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum
#14 of 34 Museums in Birmingham
Thinktank is one of the most wonderful science museums there are.
However considering the cuts to funding to such things, to have such a venue I suppose we must expect to pay for what we get, especially as there are many free museums in the city.
