Again, nature at its very best, the hills were capped with snow, the sun was shinning, the temperature for the time of year was delightful, the sky was blue, sheep everywhere and peaceful.
For those looking for a short walk, from the car park one can walk around a pond area and see a variety of birds in the adjacent woodland where numerous bird boxes and feeders provide encouragement.

Great walk in good weather, park at entrance to Linhope estate and walk is nice and easy but a couple mile.
Park on the grass at the side of the road before Heartside Farm and enjoy the views on this well sign posted walk, perfect for a picnic.
